It was my first time in NYC, and wanted to treat my girlfriend to a good restaurant. I couldn't have been happier with the service and the food at American Cut Tribeca. The waiter, Rares Adrian, was excellent: highly professional and knowledgeable, he greatly enhanced the experience. Our steaks were done perfectly and were delicious. Whilst the food was amazing, the wine exquisite, the real highlight of the evening was our waitress Liz. Attentive, entertaining, knowledgable, energetic, she ticked all the boxes. She is a real asset to American Cut and whilst we’re from the UK, if we ever come back to NYC we will be straight back to dine with Liz again!

Not so good: small/thin steaks, under seasoned. We ordered 2x rib eye, strip (slightly overcooked, ask for rare) and tomahawk (cooked right).
Other options around the way, IMO book those first.
