Amici Ristorante was underwhelming. The food and service were just average, and the atmosphere was poor. Unfortunately, there's not much to recommend here - the overall experience fell short of expectations.

the BEST resturaunt in Little Italy and I stand by that, maybe even the whole city. My family and I came in 2017 on our last trip to NYC and we came back for this trip and the food was just as good, if not even better, than we remembered. the service was phenomenal top to bottom. My boyfriend and I love chicken picatta and order it at ever resturaunt we see it at and this has been the best we've ever had. our bill was a bit more expensive since we all got wine and drinks and most of us got dessert. thank you thank you thank you to everyone at this resturuant for the phenomenal service, amazing food, and welcoming atmosphere i will continue to shout from the rooftops to anyone I know going to NYC to go to this resturaunt

FOR MY FAMILY DEFINITELY THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT I NEW YORK CITY, IT'S NOT CHEAP BUT WORTH IT AS THE FLAVORS I THE PASTA AS WELL AS I THE REST OF THE MENU ARE EXQUISITE. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE SERVICE IMPECCABLE. YOU MUST TRY CARBORABA AND THEIR FAMOUS TIRAMISU. WE REALLY ENJOY AND WE APPRECIATED YOUR TIME TO MAKE US FEEL AT HOME. HAVE A WONDER NEW YEAR 2026.

I had the vongole with white wine and garlic sauce and my sister had the ravioli. The tomato sauce for the ravioli was fantastic! The sauce for the vongole was a bit dry. That being said, the taste was pretty good and the clams were fresh. Next time I’ll get it with the tomato sauce. The tomato sauce is that good!
We had a cannolo to share and that was amazing! It was freshly filled and it was crisp and creamy at the same time. One thing I didn’t like was the chocolate sauce on top. We wanted to eat it by hand, as it is done, and we couldn’t.
I first went here in September 2015 with my family during the feast. My mother grew up right across the street with her Italian family in the 40s and 50s, so the area has sentimental value.
My sister and I plan to go here again (I visit from out of town once a year) and this restaurant suits our needs.
Sitting by the window is a bit cold. The service was great.
All in all, we were happy!

Absolutely phenomenal food. The meatballs are the perfect consistency I’ve been looking for just as my grandma used to make. Chicken Parm and spaghetti bolognese 10/10. Highly recommend!!

Great experience in Little Italy. Did not feel touristy which was nice. Food was great. Service was attentive. Reasonable prices by NYC standards.
HORRIBLE PLACE - wonder how it has such good stars? The pasta was cooked only half, the server was Hispanic who gave good service only if you spoke Spanish. The bread was cold and food tasted below average. Nothing to rave about or even enjoy about this place.

Second time here during the holidays. We LOVE it, the staff is super and food is delish. Walking the streets in Little Italy is magical after dinner. Must do, 10/10 & ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Until next time. Xo
I have been bringing groups to eat here for years and this was the absolute worst experience from food quality to service. My son and I got the lunch spaghetti and the noodles were crunchy. My son also asked the server if meatballs came on the $11 lunch spaghetti and he said yes. Got our bill and they charged him $27 for meatballs!! So we paid $50 for two meals that we couldn't even eat because it wasn't cooked and they refused to fix it and then lied to my son about the meatballs. Won't be back!
Greatest Italian food I’ve ever had. Amazing atmosphere, excellent service, and overall 10/10 experience.

Food was abysmal and nowhere near worth the price. Stay away from the pizza (particularly the mushroom pizza), which was on par with frozen/microwavable equivalents. Calimari was also disappointing.
To top it all off, my party and I all left the restaurant with stomach issues.

Exactly what you're looking for in Little Italy. Food is phenomenal, service couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. We will definitely be coming back.
