Love Amity, been going to both locations for years… however, there have been several occasions within the last year where the uptown location has been hosting private events and we’ve either had to move in the middle of our drinks or we’ve been sequestered into the small crowded back bar area… can you at least post on your website when you’re hosting a private event, gone out of my way several times to be left disappointed and squished.

Bar staff is horrible and the food hasn't changed in years . You're better off going to lions head or dive 106 .. much better food there . A lot of kids at this place , I wouldn't thought they have underage drinking ... close it down ASAP ....... Update : thank you for your reply management I will consider deleting my comment.. I did want to thank you for not making an excuse for your bartenders attitudes ... I see you didn't defend their service ..

Super cool place close to my temporary home. Great beer selection, friendly staff andMultiple TV’s with all kinds of sports. Did I mention a nice window wall which is open to enjoy the gorgeous weather ?

Great lunch burgers, service is on and off bartenders are as snotty as it gets depending on whos working, lunch hours throught the week arent too busy yet dont bother trying to get a refill on your drink.

So I've been popping into Amity hall upon my return home to the upper west side. This is a nice high end tavern. There's an element of control and emphasis on service that is exemplary. Now, I've mostly been an early evening and game day patron. I can't speak to the Saturday night crowd but it looks off the hook! The menu is great and the portions are very nice. Great cocktails and of course their beer selection is second to none. Everyone and I mean everyone I've interacted with from bartenders, waitstaff and managers are working hard to make your visit there one that you'll want to repeat many times. I'd be hard pressed to call this a sports bar. It's definitely something a little bit more. Nicely done guys!
Went with my family (7 of us). They were friendly, accommodating. The food was really good. I will definitely return.

Not that great, not that bad except an hr later I couldn't leave the toilet. The photos look amazing wish the food tastes as good as it looks. My medium well burger was rare ate it anyways,guess that's why I sat for a while later. Place looks nice and clean and bartender took my order brought out food and that's about it. Oh well I know now that I won't be back. I don't really recommend this place, but that's me so many other places to try in the same area

I was here for a private event, and it was pretty crowded. My friend, who I was with at the bar, was going through a tough time personally and was crying. A manager came over and asked us to leave. I tried explaining to the manager that my friend was not sick or drinking to excess, just crying, but she did not care and still kicked us out. This was extremely rude, inconsiderate, and inappropriate.
