Food and sevice was decent. The bill had a "service charge" embedded in the totals. I asked the manager thinking it was a fee from the state of new york. Been staying at the Westin Grand Central for work on and off for 12 of the last 21 days so I've spent a ton of time in the restaurant - and the staff is wonderful, efficient, friendly and accommodating.The breakfast varies between a buffet and à la carte, and I've been here for afternoon lunch and tea meetings. Food was really good. I had french onion soup and the baby greens salad. BUT…Service was sooo painfully slow’. To her credit, there was only one server for the whole bar/restaurant but it took forever! Soup, salad and 2 glasses of wine = $100 before tip!
