Showed up at 6:40 PM.
The posted hours say the shop closes at 7 PM.
There was a “Closed” sign on the door, but it was unlocked, so we went in.
When we walked in, the worker behind the counter was taking a bite out of one of the remaining loaves. When I asked about the hours, she said, “Yes, we’re open, but…” then turned up the music and walked away.

Super busy when I went but the service was really fast for only two workers!! Someone else grabbed my drink and the cashier remade it for me. I got a latte and bagel sandwich and both were rlly good!

French bread in the United States is usually awful, and this is no exception. Amy's Bread baguette has a tough crust and dry crumb. Coming from Argentina, where we have very good bakeries, every time I buy French bread in the U.S. I end up disappointed. This baguette is worse than bad supermarket bread in Argentina and, on top of that, it costs four times as much. It goes without saying that I do not recommend it.

Poor service and low quality of pastry - the server was not really giving much though about working and the chocolate twist tasted like plastic.

Food ok, hot chocolate delicious but service.. Oh, god.. Terrible! Treated with zero patience and my order wasn't right... For locals maybe it's fine, but as a foreign tourist felt treated with no respect.

Service is so slow it’s like they’re trying hard not to make a sale!

Brumel's Parakeet

I can only assume it is miserable to work here as the souls of the workers appear to have checked themselves into a protective locker when they came to work.

I got the challah which is supposed to have some amount of egg but it was very minimal making it a very dry challah.

Amy’s Bread offers one of the best-tasting coffees in Chelsea Market, but not all bakery items are available there, limiting my choices.

Good coffee and a nice spot if you're in the area. Good variety and everything was delicious. The only downside was that the tables you can sit at were filthy, they really should take care of that. Prices are high, but that’s understandable since it’s in a pretty touristy market. I still recommend it.

3 day old baked goods, this place should be shut down. How do you not throw everything out after 48 hours? Disgusting 🤢 do not go here!

The variety of breads are good. I was in the mood for something sweet and the strawberry rhubarbe pie looked good, but omg was it so sweet. Tone of sugar for a pie of that type.. it left a funky after taste of bitter, too, this is usually due to the bottom not being baked properly. Too bad. The staff is nice and the place is clean and has a lot other options. Would try something else next time.

The iced chai latte was practically a cup of milk with a whisper of chai. I had to throw it away. The almond brioche toast was dry; I've made better at home.
