Everything was really great! We had quite the variety of dished including the chicken curry, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, lamb saagwala and the kashmiri roganjosh. The standout was the lamb saagwala. Highly recommend! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The service was good. We were the only table there so everyone was very attentive. Overall, good quality, great service, reasonable price for the neighborhood.

Delicious, satisfying, and a great value!
Portions were generous and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine!

Honestly, I used to like this join. It has been passed to many hands before. My assumption is that it may have a new owner. The food is really bad, the rice is flavorless and feels as if it is was from the week before and it was kept in the fridge. The chicken marsala was disgusting to say the least. I do support small business as I always do, but Angaar is not helping. So avoid it - food is totally unacceptable.

hi! my favorite restaurant spot near natural History museum. incredible food, awesome staff. they knew I was sick, & sent extra food in my takeout order which I tried to tip them back at some point. no idea how many times this restaurant fed me over my 3 years in Manhattan. miss you!

Ordered saffron chicken korma and chicken biriyani. The chicken was a bit dry in both. The curry was lacking in flavours. The biriyani had a weird, artificial taste. The roti and naan were also lifeless. If all this wasn’t enough, the prices are also unreasonably high.
I specifically asked if we need one or two mains for two people and was told to get two. I didn’t know the curry is served with rice and we ended up with too much food (which wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t so dull).
Based on my experience, this place is run by people who have no care for authentic Indian food and no interest in serving their guests. I wish I could erase the memory of ever visiting here and ruining my otherwise happy day.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered uber eats and the delivery was so incredibly quick! However, the chicken was too chewy in the chicken tikka masala and the aloo gobi tasted a day old. If you want speedy service for a middle of the pack Indian food this is the way to go.

Super super delicious, recommend!
We got three proteins (lamb, chicken, and fish), and they all managed to be very dry. One of the curries tasted predominantly of ketchup. The desserts were good, though, and so was the service—attentive and friendly.

Ordered take out from Uber Eats and it wasn’t good at all. Samosas were definitely previously frozen and you could taste the freezer burn. Shrimp curry has no flavor and overcooked shrimp. Lamb seekh kebabs tasted old with zero spice. Really bad Indian food and wouldn’t order again! Super overpriced as well.
