A hidden gem in West Village. The ambiance is intimate and serene, with dim lighting and soft jazz playing in the background. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a quiet evening. The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted and visually appealing. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Ideal for a relaxed night out or a special date

Cheek to cheek and painted paradise along with Raisin the Roof are top notch and balanced just right. The ambiance is also perfect, enjoyed a good 2 hours here and the waitress are very friendly and attentive. Would be back 100% and this is my new favorite spot in town. Get here early and usually party of 2 can be seated without too long of a wait

Good cocktails, a little overpriced even for the neighborhood. I would have recommended it except for the ending. We were here for maybe 30 minutes. Ordered our drinks within minutes of sitting down and once we finished we said we wanted to close out and paid. About 30 seconds after paying someone else who wasn’t our water came and told us I need you to leave we have a big party waiting. It was a Thursday there were only 4 people waiting on the vestibule. I understand not lingering but you should be able to finish your sentence after paying for three $25 drinks without being asked to leave.

A very cozy yet elevated cocktail bar. Quite busy on a Friday evening, but they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly seeing as it was just the two of us. Larger parties had a longer wait time.

The cocktails themselves were great. A pretty extensive menu with a wide range across all liquor types. The service was quick.

What a treat.

We drank the Papaya & Friends and the Painted Paradise. Both 10/10. Can't wait to go back.

When angel share was in st marks, I’d go every often during my uni years with the sunrise market crew at the time. Been to the new location a couple of times. Just yesterday, went. Got seated quickly at the bar. Was enjoying watching the bartender make drinks, but after a comment from his coworker he seemed stressed? He knocked the drink he made and poured all over my partner. It wasn’t a problem, it was a lot, but not a problem. Then the bartender attempted small talk after that. And then his friends?/Frequent patrons? Made a gross misogynistic comment loudly at the bar to which the bartender laughed at. Something along the lines of “hand me an autistic brunette and see what I’ll do.” And we weren’t upset, but we were disappointed that at the end of it all he presented the bill with tip buttons over 20%. Now that percentage is regular, but there was no omotenashi whatsoever- Japanese hospitality of thinking about the patron’s experience. A whole drink being spilt on you, you’re cold and damp. And not being able to steer weird bar conversations that make others uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience. I can say that the bartenders who have left and made their own business, they carry omotenashi with such prestige in their bars. Kudos to the others.

Highly recommend the 'Fever'! It's pretty darn good and creamy in taste. A perfect choice for light, a bit of sweet taste of the Angels.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years, but this experience was truly disappointing. The three of us waited for over 30 minutes, only to see another group of three who arrived 20 minutes after us get seated before us. When we asked, the staff told us the wait would be 40 minutes, but once those 40 minutes passed, they suddenly told us we’d have to wait another hour. That was incredibly frustrating.

What makes even less sense is that they were seating groups even when not all their party members had arrived. This waiting system is completely unreasonable and shows no respect for people’s time. Not everyone has hours to spare just to be treated unfairly. I have no intention of coming back after this experience.
I wrote this because on Website said “walk in only”.

An exceptional experience and immediately one of our favorite cocktail bars in NYC and the world! All of the drinks were excellent, and we would absolutely love to come back. It’s a busy spot, getting there early is absolutely a must. The inside is cozy, dimly lit, and reminiscent of an old jazz bar. Service is extremely prompt, and if you have space for it the food looks lovely!

So it was really good yes but not worth waiting outside an hour good in my opinion. I had this cream cheese drink and tequila sweet drink that I really liked but I did not like the pepper flavored Fever drink. It’s my fault I ordered a drink with pepper but usually these places have weird ingredients and give me a good drink, this one was odd sweet and savory. I prefer George bang bang more for a similar vibe and also have a cheesecake flavored drink and they take reservations

Such a nice cocktail bar. The truffle vodka pear (krazy kat) was amazing. The blue cheese whisky was great as well

Worth the visit alone for being a trailblazer in the modern NYC cocktail scene (est.1993). Speakeasy and elevated atmosphere with a beautiful angelic mural, serving tasty and creative Japanese influenced cocktails. Service is great, as expected for the prices. Waits can be long as space is limited and no reservations are taken. Definitely worth a visit.

I went to Angel's Share on a Friday night and was expecting a line, but unfortunately, after waiting over an hour, it did not meet our expectations. We enjoyed the vibe of this place and the drinks were good, but our server could not answer any of our questions about the menu, which was disappointing, but also essential when you have a unique menu that may prompt questions. This is not the place to try a something new because if you get the wrong drink they will not remake it or allow you to order anything else. I have never been to a bar where they do not allow you to order something different. I was a bartender for a few years and was shocked by this especially with how pricey the drinks are.
