Very unique speakeasy with a upscale, low lit, trendy atmosphere. Makes you feel like you are truly in a hidden underground lounge within West Village. Menu focused on Japanese cocktails, which were all incredible. Recommend this spot for a high caliber cocktail and a cool vibe.
I loved the old angels share in East Village. Happened to be in this area, forgot that they reopened so we went in and tried it. I was pretty disappointed I guess to say the least. First, the decor of this place is just... not great. That's totally my personal style and aesthetics, but I just don't think any of the interior choices were done well and it was just super boring looking. This one is going to the top of my list! Cannot believe we waited this long to go; loved everything about it, great space, very pleasant service, bar snacks are wonderful (had the sashimi of the day, fried squid, and marinated cucumbers), and the cocktails were out of this World delicious, pricey but worth every penny. Cannot wait to return.
