A sweet stop at Angelina! My husband, two friends, and I visited just for ice cream—and wow, it was amazing. Each of us picked a different flavor and we were all so happy with our choices. My personal favorite was the pistachio—creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The place is elegant and charming, but it was quite crowded and we had trouble finding a place to sit. Also, the bathrooms weren’t very clean, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Still, the ice cream...
I have had the pleasure of visiting Angelina in Versailles before, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of their hot chocolate and desserts outside of France is just as exceptional. The hot chocolate was rich and velvety, and the éclaire and Trocadero were absolutely perfect. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to those with a sweet tooth visiting New York
The banana pudding is good, but not amazing to the point that it became a cult like experience. There is always a line for it. It’s ready packaged to take to go. There is no place to sit inside the bakery. Has a pretty generic feel. Good to try once though.
