Angel hair francese is giving maruchan noodles in a dorm at 2am. The eggplant sauce is good but the bread was a little stale and hurt to chew .

A lovely restaurant. Staff is very friendly and the food was great. I would definitely go back. We had already reservations prior so no wait time.

Amazing food, next level service. Have been a couple of times now and always such delicious food and vibes. Highly recommend the oysters rockefeller and steak. Just note it’s quite loud in there on a busy night.

Can’t wait to return with friends or for a solo bite with a book by the bar. The cherry Camembert is soooo good! So is everything else from the pork chop to the scallops. 10/10

Very tasty food and our busser was so amazing. I didn't get his name, but he was SO attentive and kind. I hope he makes it up the ladder to a waiter, because he was excellent. He alone made the experience even better! The food was YUM and the place was COZY =)

Good food, grumpy staff. We had a group of 9, and they really seemed put out by our party size and asking a few questions.

Such a delicious restaurant! Came here for dinner and loved every bite of wha we ordered.
The place is cozy, with covered outdoor seating.
We ordered the mushroom and leek gratin, the chicories hazelnut salad and scallops and every thing was incredibly delicious! The gratin was creamy and rich, the salad very flavorful with a perfectly balanced dressing and the scallops so buttery.
Will definitely be back to try more things on their menu!

Advised on this spot from a theater friend (with the most absurdly amazing taste. Thanks Annie!). I was expecting some high-brow bullshit, like is the norm in these parts ( ::sighs, drags a gauloises:: ) But alas… The vibes immaculate and the bar a healthy mix of true industry folk (that’s the restaurant industry mind you, and seemed like some real players!), young smart-money private banker types with cute girlfriends, and cultured middle aged dates. The decor is old school NYC like I miss. The bathrooms smelled amazing but the storage wasn’t locked: That’s a good sign of clientele! The fixtures: real bronze. Relatively attentive bar staff from sauntering in at near-close, and a great mix of everything I seek in the neighborhood. International gastronomiques unite! Bon soir! Kindness is KIN-G! Good thoughts, Good words; Good Deeds. GOOD Knight!

A classic that never disappoints. This was our third time at Anton’s and it is reliably delicious, great value for lunch and with pleasant service.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend who raved about it. I have to say, it was just pretty average and very over priced.
The four of us had a cocktail each, two ordered Martinis and had to send them back as they were undrinkable. It is harder to make a martini undrinkable than it is to make a half decent one. They tasted like they had 3 shots of Vermouth in them. The server was nice enough and took them back for a re-do, and they came back just as bad.
The food was so average, overcooked pasta, one of our party had the anchovy's pasta, which basically tasted like a vat of salt had been emptied on some soggy pasta, between the four of us we managed about 2 mouthfuls of it.
The best meal was the pasta ragu, but lets face it, you have to go pretty hard to mess that up.
Then the bill was dropped on us, incredibly overpriced.
It's a cool place and was packed solid, so maybe our experience isn't the usual one, but we won't be bothering coming back that is for sure.
