Tourist trap, charged 9.00 which included a mandatory 20% post tax service charge for a mediocre take out cup of coffee which ended up being like a 25% service charge and then the ipad was asking for some additional percentage on top of an already exploitative amount. Had I known this I would have never gotten it. I have never paid so much for a cup of coffee in my life.

Went for breakfast twice. Seemed liked the server didn’t want to take care of us twice. And the second time he had us halt our steak and eggs order because someone else was potentially going to order it. Funny enough I asked for it he said no someone else did he said yes.
Funny that even at a hotel breakfast I’ve gotta wear a polo to get first dibs on a meal.

Our server was so kind and accommodating! It was a nice chill spot. I did send the seafood paella back and got the lumache pasta instead. I felt bad, cause I usually never do that, but the seafood in the paella was very overcooked, the whole thing was almost completely unseasoned, and also was kinda stinky? I loved the lumache alla vodka though. Cocktail and beer selection were also good.
Really enjoyed this café. Cozy atmosphere, calm, not crowded, and nice background music. Special thanks to the gentleman who served us, everything was excellent!

The ambiance is great. The paella wasnt cooked right, I didn’t like the taste and smell of the rice and related items. My sides were average. I love the chocolate mini donuts. 🍩 great for small and large groups. The waiters were nice and reimbursed us for items that weren’t our expectations, but I expected the quality of the food to be better.

This is definitely a beautiful venue. The only thing that really turned me off was the Tipping policy. 20% is already included in your check but then they give you the POS and there's an offering for even more on top of it which is an awkward situation with a server sitting right there. I felt obligated to do more so I did an extra 7% for my gratuity bringing the total of 27% which I think is ridiculous for just sitting down and having a glass of wine. If you're going to include gratuity in the check that's fine but don't offer an extra amount on the POS

The first time I was there, It seemed that I had disappeared. After 15 minutes I had to get up and ask for service. Got an average breakfast at premium price. I thought I would give them a second chance on my next visit to NYC(staying at the hotel). I was seated at the bar and was given a glass of water. After 10 minutes another person was seated at the bar. At the 15 minute mark the server took the order for patron seated 10 minutes after me! So I walked out! Never again!
