We dine at AOC regularly. The food, wine and ambience are always good, but we have had a couple of subpar service experiences including this visit. We ordered 4 entrees and only 3 came out. The waiter apologized and took ownership of the error as he said he only put in 3 orders. He said the kitchen would rush and the 4th order would be right out. That did not happen. Two of of our party had ordered the same item of the dinner which didn't come out so they split one order and shared it. The missing entree came out when we were all done eating, and it was picked at and not finished. When our check came we were surprised to see the missing dinner charged for. We called the waiter over and he said their policy is if the meal is brought to the table we have to pay. Only then did he offer a free desert, which was after we had been asked if we wanted desert which we had declined. If they had graciously just brought desert and apologized again we would have been ok and let it go. We didn't want a scene and paid the bill although the waiter took a haircut on his tip which only seemed appropriate. AOC you need to think through how you handle issues like this.

Overall a very good experience. Food is great and it's a nice old school French feel. The drinks always make things much more expensive than it needs to be, but unfortunately that is everywhere.

They had live music going which is always a plus in my book. We started with wine and oysters. Both delicious. My husband ordered the burger and he loved it. I ordered the mussels and the broth was excellent.

We had the best time! The vibes were so great! The wine was delicious - there were so many options. The French Onion Soup was very good, but a little too bready. The Muscles and Oysters were delish!! Steak tar tar was so good as well! And the burrata salad was to due for!!! 10/10 recommend this place, especially for date night!

Bartender spent inordinate time socializing with favored customers while others remained totally unserved.
