AOC is very authentic- French staff and chefs, and the food is as good as a bistro in Paris.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Will be back again and again and again. Phenomenal menu, wine list, ambience, and service.
Really good specials. Hanger steak always hits the mark. If you get a chance, try the oyster sliders. Staff is attentive and knows the menu well. Look forward to going again.
It was fine. Nothing exceptional and expensive for what it was. So loud it was hard to hear my dinner mates.
AOC is one of our favorite spots on the Upper East Side. The food, service and ambiance is incredible. The amazing bartender always gives the best wine recommendations and the mussels are scrumptious. We absolutely love it there!
The steak came out well done. The server never came to our table after we ordered. I don't think I'd go back.
Usually our go to place. I guess valentine's Day overwhelmed them a little. Slow service, they took both burgers off the menu (splitting the lamb burger is a tradition with us, that sucked) and the food was more meh than I've had before. Chicken both a little burned and a little undercooked: coq a vin lacking flavor.
Perfect V-Day spot w fantastic atmosphere and food. Owner introduced himself and is a great guy.
Not impressed. The $40 duck tasted like it was reheated and or over done.

I’m wondering if these reviews are legitimate. We had the ratatouille as an appetizer, wasn’t too bad except the bread was hard as a rock. For our main course we had a lamb burger and lamb chops, which was the special. Lamb burger and the fries were ok, but the lamb was very tough. We ordered the apple pastry for dessert, definitely not impressive. The coffee was pretty good. They weren’t very busy but the service was terrible. I hope they get things straightened out because I do like to see small businesses thrive.

I ordered my steak medium rare it came medium well and they pack fries together with a steak for a delivery, so obviously fries get super soggy by the delivery time.
We were there to celebrate a special event and everything was excellent! Thank you for a lovely meal and evening.
Wouldn't go back. Food was definitely overpriced for the poor quality. I hope they can improve because I like to see small business succeed.
Ambiance: great/ food: starters,great/ main: steak: tough, not high quality. Cocktails: not good, why can't restaurants in NY make a simple, descent vodka martini, a real man's do, not “dirty “ and all that crap. Sorry!
What a wonderful, quaint restaurant on the Upper East Side. We had wonderful burgers!!! This really is a gem of a restaurant. I would highly recommend. Plus it has an amazing wine list!!!
