Usually love this place and food was mostly excellent. However my husband and a friend felt their drinks were extremely watered down. My drink was excellent. My hanger steak which tasted delicious was very difficult to chew. Prices were also way higher than last time we were there. Love this place but wasn't as amazing as usual.
AOC has the best burger in all of NYC (get it with the Roquefort and pair it with the Beaujolais). Our favorite neighborhood spot—we come here at least a few times a month. Classic French spot with friendly French owners (Jerome usually waits on us), amazing food, and great wine and atmosphere.
I hadn't been to the restaurant in quite a while, and looked forward to a midweek dinner there. A very appealing menu, though the food was a mixed bag. Excellent kale salad and mussels for my friend. For me, the lamb burger was supposed to be "spicy" but it was just extremely salty, and ratatouille was just so-so. Our waiter was great, very accommodating.
