Interesting experience. It was pretty busy busy so we had to eat outside, but they were super nice and put down a rain cover so we didn’t get wet. The food was decent, they forgot our two orders of bacon. Not a bad atmosphere, it was near our hotel. Overall pretty nice.
We’ve eaten breakfast here many times and for the life of me I can’t understand why they’d use sliced lunch meat ham as an addition to your breakfast plate instead of a small ham steak. I found it inedible. Otherwise the breakfast was well plated with everything one could want. Next time I’d refrain from ordering anything with ham from this place. Also instead of nicely whipped cream cheese for my partner’s bagel they presented him with two small packets of cream cheese...
It was so good we are there twice in our 4 day visit to NYC. We were staying in the residence inn located in the building above the diner which is how we came to find it. Located at the top of Broadway as you head towards Central Park. We ate here for dinner ordering a chill hot dog platter, chicken gyro platter, kids chicken goujons and chips, chilli con carne and a wrap and chips. This was followed by chocolate cake and tiramisu.
