Aroqa NYC exceeded expectations with its elevated yet authentic Indian flavors. The Coastal Crab Cake was outstanding—beautifully seasoned without overpowering the natural sweetness of the crab, and the accompanying coleslaw complemented it perfectly. Truly one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. The Coastal Pepper Prawns delivered an amazing balance of heat and aromatics, with curry leaves and onions adding incredible depth. The Potato & Peas Tikkies tasted like genuine Old Delhi street food—comforting, nostalgic, and perfectly executed. The Tandoori Chicken Tikka was tender, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented.
The only miss for me was the Old Fashioned, which didn’t quite hit the mark.
The restaurant offers a cozy, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere—ideal for enjoying a relaxed dining experience. I highly recommend Aroqa NYC for anyone seeking elevated Indian cuisine that stays true to its authenticity and bold flavors.

Best decision of the night! We walked by and then paused and walked back to go in. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in until we left. All the options were extremely flavorful and there were multiple options on the menu. Everything we had, had good flavor, but if you’re looking for a higher spice level, you should ask. Everyone is friendly and gave perfect recommendations when asked.

The food here is great. Not your typical Indian restaurant that serves the same four things along with garlic naan. Also the gulab jamun creme brulee is worth going out of your way for.

The food was creative and refined and the service was super attentive! The owner came by and introduced herself and was super sweet as well, even sent an extra dessert. Overall, a fantastic experience

Really enjoyed my dinner at ROQA. Upscale decor, elevated food (they have Michelin Stars), and warm hospitality. The Paturi Chilean Sea Bass and other dishes were outstanding. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent and the staff was warm and inviting. Started with the tandoor cooked lamb chops and they set the tone for an amazing meal.

I don’t know what it is about their flavor profile but it is one of the most standout indian places I’ve had across 4 continents. Any opportunity my wife and I get to go to aroqa we grab with both hands.
Thank you for being so unique!

Really overpriced for what you get. The bread basket was served cold and the rasmalai was one of the worst we ever had. The staff added a 20% tip on their own (party of 4 adults and 1 toddler) and added a 3% credit card surcharge on top.

I had the pleasure of dining at aRoqa for a very important occasion and chose it as a place to treat my mother to an unforgettable evening. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The service was attentive and gracious, the food was rich in flavor and beautifully prepared, and the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome. The owner even stopped by our table to check in, which made the night feel personal and memorable. If you have the opportunity to dine at this establishment, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Terrible experience. Overpriced food that was overly seasoned with no quality control (excessively salty Vada pav, too oily bhatura). The drinks were not bottomless. We had to ask for each round of mimosas and were cut off after 70 min because “we’ve a break from 3-5 pm”. Why seat customers for a 90 min meal at 2 pm then??
Has gone extremely downhill & no where near Michelin quality anymore. Don’t waste your time and money. Many many restaurants will give you a superior experience at the same price point.

Astounding how much the food has deteriorated in taste and quality. Over priced for what it is now especially with the laughable cheap portions. Wouldn’t go back unless they made a complete 180, there’s too much competition to be serving up bad food in the city!
Great service (with a smile) and good food Ambience for a restaurant of its stature could be better (a bit too dark looking for my comfort). Will be back.
