The waitress took straight to spot next to rest room. It totally spoiled my mood. She did not even tried to make room in the front. There were plenty of seats in the front. When I asked for why there she said i did not book in advance so she gave that seat. I felt she was rude.

Paneer tikka slaps for an app. Saag paneer is one of the best in the city. Daal makhni hits.
Ambiance: The music is like I'm a lit club. From galantis to kanye, they're throwing bangers. presentation of the food is also very well done. Lasan Gobi comes in a cool play truck.
Service: Staff is attentive.
Negatives: No mango lassi. Unacceptable. But everything else is great.

I have never had Indian food in my life. I went here for the first time and really understood what I have been missing in my life. They are Michelin star rated and the food is amazing. Heat and sweet, just a perfect match. The staff is amazing and always making sure you see satisfied. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to try Indian faad and are not sure about it. Just a hidden jem of a place.

If you are up for trying a contemporary twist on Indian food, then Aroqa is the place for you. The food is wonderful. What surprised me was the lamb. I don't particularly care for lamb because it is gamey to me. But here at Aroqa -- it was not! The first place I've had lamb where I truly enjoyed it. All the dishes had great flavor. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it.

I was genuinely surprised by how delicious the food was! Every dish was full of flavor, and the lamb was absolutely perfect—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. This has to be one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
