The piano player understood his job was to create a nice atmosphere and did exactly that without trying to make it about him. Bravo!
The bartenders were professional and attentive without being intrusive.
The cocktails were over priced but well made.
A great place to relax and meet friends you actually want to talk to without having to talk over the music or the crowd.

Went in to this cocktail bar before dinner and ended up coming back after dinner. Great selection of classic drinks and the atmosphere has that old classy jazz bar vibe. Pianist was there playing some tunes on our trip back and the service from the bartenders was great.

Let's address the obvious--yes, it's expensive. But are the cocktails good? Absolutely. You're really here for the vibe and ambiance, which is all about sexy, elegant, and classy. I love the moody atmosphere with dim lighting, making it perfect for a date night! The bartenders are highly attentive, carefully crafting the perfect cocktail to suit your taste.

We went on a weekend trip to NYC and discovered this gem of a place that took us to Paris with its vibe- the music, the food and service, the decor, the ambience. It was on point!! We tried many of the cocktails on the menu and they were excellent. Pity we don’t have a place like this in DC. We would be frequent visitors.

Arora is a CLASSY place with a terrific bar and friendly professional bartenders. I’ve never eaten there, but based on the quality of the atmosphere I’m betting it’s aces. It’s a great place to relax. And they have piano music:-)???
