We always like the food here but tonight the bread was amazing-fresh and tasty. Everything was fine except the spaghetti that came with my eggplant parm (I asked for only butter on it) was sort of gooey and didn't taste like butter. Not sure what happened. Also disappointed that the wonderful tirmasu wasn't on the Restaurant Week menu as it had always been before. No matter, we will return.

Our party of 4 all enjoyed our entrees. We started with the fried calamari and zucchini. Two of us had the tasty orrechetti with sausage and broccoli rabe and there was a delicious entree of lasagne and another pasta. This is our “ go to” place for reliable Italian food and good service. While we had a reservation, our table was not available upon our timely arrival. After about 10 minutes, we were seated in an auxiliary dining room, which proved to be ideal since we requested a table in a quiet area anyway. This also proved to be quick thinking on the part of the maitre d. we will be back soon.

Our waiter, Marco L, was very rude. He yelled at my friend to “read” the menu when she asked about ordering a Caesar salad. She said don't yell at me & he said I have a man's voice not a woman's.

I love this place. I had my daughter's Bridal Shower here in the Skylight Room and I couldn't be more satisfied. We had our wedding at Arte Cafe and it was absolutely perfect. We had the most wonderful picturesque old school New York Italian-American ambiance. The manager Ariel was extremely generous and accommodating. The event coordinator Alexis was attentive, thoughtful, organized and knowledgeable. The general wait staff, bar staff, and kitchen crew were incredibly professional, experienced, and gracious. They made our dreams come true!
