I believe this is another restaurant from the same group that owns Cosme, possibly our favorite spot in the city right now. Like Cosme, their steak (carne asada) was a real standout. Also really loved the fish tostada and brussels sprout tacos. We had several other dishes and truly everything was good. Have a slight preference for this as a great lunch spot (vs dinner), but it’s never a bad choice.
I love everything Chef Olvera does from Pujol to Cosme, his restaurants are flawless! ATLA is no exception! It’s the best option I’ve come across for authentic, high-quality, casual Mexican fare in NYC.
