I have been to Atoboy many times and find it well matched for my taste. First, it is a standout modern Korean restaurant tucked away in the Flatiron district that transforms the humble concept of banchan into something extraordinary. Taking its name from the ancient Korean word meaning ‘gift,’ the restaurant opened in 2016 with a menu inspired by banchan—the small side dishes served with every Korean meal.

Our meal was good but not great - the kimchi had an off flavor and the pork rib was very greasy. Service was attentive, but the atmosphere (concrete cafeteria) doesn’t align with the price point.
Limited selections on a prix fix menu. The menu itself seems very reasonable for New York City but there are so many upcharges that are honestly annoying.
