Wednesday April 17th was my birthday and each year. I receive a coupon from Au Bon Pain for a birthday treat.Isn't that wonderful??

Au Bon Pain used to be a great sandwich shop. I stopped in today for a baguette sandwich and the choices were abysmal. I got the chicken salad. Worst tasting chicken salad ever. Hardly edible. I ate half because I was hungry but it really was terrible. Then the cashier is barely breathing, and when I told her there was something gooey on the touch screen she told me to use another button, but didn't clean the touchscreen. She could barely point out where the restroom was and didn't respond when I told her there was no tp. So I left and went back to my Dr.'s office to use the facilities. Now I'm home and running for the bathroom again because what I ate there less than an hour ago has given me the runs. There is no way I'd ever go back and I can say this place is a sh*t hole. Not even a version of its former self. It doesn't feel clean and doesn't meet the standards that food served to the public should meet. And they're not exactly cheap either. And did I mention I cleaned my own table, cause yeah. I did. I'm giving one star because here isn't a choice of 0 star. In case anyone was wondering. Should have gone to Panera.

We came here for the pop up event for McDowell's from Coming to America. It was amazing and so fun. I'd like to come back to enjoy their regular menu.

If you visit after 8:30 PM they have their pastries at half price and they are still fresh
The bakery is pretty good but all the wraps and salads are so bland and tasteless it's disgusting! not to mention overpriced! The chicken ceasar and Thai peanut chicken wraps are terrible- a few small pieces of chicken, tons of lettuce, and no flavor! I will just get the muffins, brownies, etc from now on

First and last time here. First, the bagel was delicious. But when I got my coffee, and flipped the lid open there was a dead small fly right where I was about to sip from. Got a new coffee without a big deal, and the coffee was surprisingly good. Went to the bathroom and was horrified. I'm sure it was previous customers, but they need to be on top of it way more. I felt disgusted in there. On the plus side, I saw they had a vegan soup option, so I guess you win some, you lose some..

I come here often and I am always impressed with the freshness of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the expediency of the service. The food is delicious and the prices are very affordable. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee, this is the right place.
