The women that work here were all on break so they said and refused to serve the few customers that were there. When they finally made my sandwich it was with a bad attitude. One of them was on the phone talking to her friend over the phone and laughing as if she was in some cantina along south of the border, and yes wearing the aubin pain yellow uniform. Real classy to say the least. I can only imagine the monthly rent the owners are paying for this location and left it in the hands of these lazy, unqualified and rude women. The women workers were either African or jamaican and seem to speak the same language. I wouldn't be surprised f they're robbing the place. They behave like they own the place and couldn't care less about the customers. It is a shame, I love aubin pain but frankly I lost my appetite for it the last time I was there in October of 2019 a Saturday. Really lazy, fat and shameless workers that only care about their extended breaks. One thing I noticed is no cameras inside , perhaps the owners should install cameras so they are able to monitor the tereible behavior of the workers. Terrible terrible and unproffessional.

The store was pretty quiet since the midday rush had disappeared. The soup and sandwich that had was very good. The lady at checkout wasn't very friendly, however the sandwich guy was very patient with me and asked questions while he made my sandwich. Overall it was a good visit.

My favorite chain ever. I can walk into any cafe and expect the best. Menu has many options that it is hard to choose. Healthy and vegan friendly options. Bread is fantastic as well as the coffee. A must for a well priced quick bite.

I like Au Bon Pain's food and would go to the location on the concourse in Rockerfeller by the subway and they always seemed to be on point, that location closed but, this particular location needs new staff. The weekends are worse! I work on the weekend nearby and first off it is hit or miss if they're open at 7. Second, the other person who commented that they're inexperienced is so right. They can barely make what you ask or know how to use the equipment! I stopped going. New staff please and better training.

This location is profiley. Staff sucks. I came in to redeem a deal which includes a pastry and coffee. I prepared my coffee, and as I'm making it aaaaaaaaaaaaall of a sudden, this dark skinned black girl starts cleaning the area around me. What they needed to do, is replenish the pastries cause they were damn near out at 3pm. I then head to the register to redeem the deal which requires them to scan it. I show her the code so all she has to do is scan it and keep it movin. Now if they scan the bar code within the email one time, it cannot be redeemed again. She asked to see the email. so I showed it to her and I checked out just fine. Just watch it when you're in there. They seem to think you're panini pressed to rob em for pastries and drinks.
This location used to be Much better. On a few occasions in last few weeks alone the ice machine was broken. The coffee machine was broken in the morning. There are finger stains on glass doors for the baked goods, as if they haven't been cleaned in days. Even the food changed. I use to love jalapeí±o bagel, jalapeí±os were nice and mild. Over the last few months they started using different jalapeí±os that are super spicy, you can come to the place at 10 am and not a single jalapeí±o bagel is taken.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon and the five female employees were standing around talking. The place was filthy, food was depleted. Upon asking if something was available I was told "no"! Waited for cashier to appear for a few minutes and when she finally arrived she said to me "over here" indicating I needed to move my tray to her. She didn't apologize for keeping us waiting, she didn't grab the tray herself. They all need customer service training. We won't go back.
