The food is always delicious! I’m afraid it’s gone out of business once a week before Labor Day. We live a few floors above them and it’s a great place to have since they have many food options to choose from

The fish tacos are heaven!
Amazing chicken
This review is purely for their ribs. They have very untraditional ribs. In my opinion, way too much pepper. Their bbq sauce is good though.
Au Jus is located on Lexington Ave between 100st and 101st in East Harlem.. It is small, yet cozy, and has been there several years. With that being said, I have tried their food twice, and I will never try again. Unfortunately, the food is tasteless and overpriced, and the portion sizes are very small. I ordered their flounder platter my second time ordering from them, and the back of my fish was soggy and tasted like frozen fish. I had their gouda smoked Mac & Cheese, which was cold and tasteless. And I had roasted red potatoes which had a little flavor but looked and tasted as if they sat around all day. Also, I noticed a 15% gratuity charge on my receipt for takeout.. Which is fine, but I think customers should know that they have to pay gratuity on takeout orders as well as dine-in. The food is too expensive!! Especially for the portion size and quality, I won't be eating here again!!
Ordered a sandwich for takeout specifically because it had jalapeño peppers, and unbeknownst to me they used green peppers instead. What a letdown.
Just amazing bbq food and service. The ribs especially were so moist and flavorful! A great neighborhood spot
This food is cold and nasty. They really do their door dash orders bad. Half a rack of ribs and only a dipping cup on bbq sauce? I guess you pay for the ribs and they skimp you EVERYWHERE ELSE. Don’t get the stuffing.

First and last time here. I wish we had read the reviews. Food was not fresh and felt re-heated. Very small portions for the price. Even the corn bread was bad. We immediately had to use the bathroom when we got home. The only star would go to the waiter who went beyond the call of duty to make our first visit here nice. Unfortunately, this did not make up for everything else.

Outstanding meat and delicious sides. It’s worth a trek from Central Park to grab some pulled rib meat anytime. It’s a go-back place, not a one night stand
Overpriced.
Great place for meat lovers ? an amazing brisket, juicy and soft, great short ribs at good prices to share or various lunch options.

Came for happy hour and it was amazing. The margaritas was 5 dollars and the smoky salmon was delicious with the creamy Gouda
