Ordered the chicken kebab on a whim and was genuinely impressed. The flavors are rich, well-layered, and incredibly satisfying. Even as a takeout order, you can tell how warm and inviting the space is inside. The management has clearly done a great job — everything was spotless and well taken care of. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

The atmosphere of this place was very nice, however the service was EXTREMELY slow however the kind waitress did gave us an heads-up that the tableside schwarma is made to order so I understood it was going to take time, then we waited like 1hr +30 mins for anything so I definitely didn't expect that it was going to take that long. Now seeing this was a michelin restaurant I did expect the food to be really delicious but in all honesty it was just good. I really liked the pita bread/fries, I wish the spicy sauce had a bit more of a kick and the schwarma was pretty good but honestly I had better from smaller middle eastern spots. Definitely a cool one and done though.

We came in on a friday night after new years and the place was packed. But the food came out quickly and deliciously. The service was outstanding and wanted to give a shout out to our server Bella. Had an amazing experience dining at Au Za’atar! Everything that we ordered was so delicious, juicy, and fresh. The meat they serve is Halal. Clean restrooms available. The customer service was amazing too.
We ordered the lamb shank and it was excellent. Very flavorful and tender, cooked perfectly. The service and atmosphere were outstanding, and everything about the experience was amazing. We will definitely visit again.

Halloumi app was so good, Lamb yogurt entree they recommended was soo refreshingly tasty, pita bread was soft and dense in the way i like, desserts were great (i.e. finished them even though we were totally full), to go bag was so generous and large and structured!! Lasted me a couple more meals at home and it was still tender and delicious upon reheating!
