I took my parents to Au Za’atar, and it was the perfect place to go! Amelia literally saved our trip with how attentive she was to my mom and dad. The Shawarma Tower was incredible juicy and just the right amount of food. If you’re wondering where to bring someone, this is that place! And if you can get Amelia for your wait staff, that’s the cherry on top!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Au Za’atar - Midtown East during my business trip to New York. A true Lebanese gem right in the heart of Manhattan.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying authentic Arabic cuisine. The service was fast and professional, and the staff was attentive and friendly. 🍽️

I highly recommend trying the Sfiha (Lamb Flatbread) with a refreshing Ayran (Laban drink), an incredible combo....

When we were first seated we were greeted by a gentleman that gave us good tips on what to order. But some confusion was later made when a different waiter came and took our order. There was a switch off between that but both were very nice. Shawarma was given late and cold but mashawi was on point. I would not recommend getting the tabbouleh because it’s $50 for a small plate that would barely feed 3 people. Atmosphere was quiet and well put. Overall a 4/5 is a bit of a reach,...
