The food is so good but try to save room for dessert. The service was fantastic- they knew we had a show to get to and served us perfectly so we’re had out time but also they kept us on track to finish with time to spare.

Food and all was great. Reason I cannot give it 5 stars however is because they offered me tea and charged $8 for hot water and a packet of Twinning green tea. Nobody likes being ripped off especially without a heads up. Still coming back just not gonna order the tea anymore. They pulled a fast one on me smh

One of the best meals, I've had in NYC. All of the fish was great: the jumbo shrimp, bass and salmon were perfectly cooked. The zucchini chips are super tasty and so are the dessert offerings. The staff was beyond kind; I look forward to visiting again this Fall!

I had a truly wonderful solo dining experience at Avrà Rockefeller. I was seated outdoors, where the elegant setting and vibrant city energy created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening.
I started with the Greek salad, which was incredibly fresh and full of flavor—simple, classic, and beautifully done. For my main course, I chose the charcoal-grilled Halibut filet, served over spanakorizo. The fish was perfectly cooked—moist, tender, and delicately smoky—and paired wonderfully with the flavorful spinach rice. I finished with their signature Greek yogurt, which was creamy, light, and just sweet enough to end the meal on a high note.
A special thank you to Eliana, the Maître D, for her gracious hospitality. Even though I was dining alone, she made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. And I must mention Robert, my server, whose friendly and attentive service made the experience feel effortless and enjoyable.
Avrà Rockefeller is a true gem in the city. Whether dining alone or with company, it’s a place I’ll continue to recommend with confidence—and I look forward to returning soon.

A wonderful restaurant, from the decoration to the service, the delicious food, an inexplicable experience, my good friend Sergio and the rest of the staff gave us a very pleasant experience 100% recommended.
Interesting restaurant connected to Rockefeller center. The appetizers including the octopus and avra chips were amazing. Had the branzino as my main which was pretty good. Desert was very decadent which I struggle with. Good spot to take clients.

My wife had a severe reaction after dining at Avra and eating the swordfish. We had to rush her to the emergency room within hours. Following this, she underwent extensive testing for fish allergies, including a specific test for swordfish, all of which came back negative. The doctors concluded that her reaction was most likely due to the restaurant serving spoiled or contaminated fish. I reached out to Avra to inform them of this serious incident, but they have not responded at all. It’s disappointing that a restaurant with Avra's reputation wouldn’t take responsibility or even acknowledge such a significant health risk. I did really like the Avra chips. The steak was mediocre, which I guess is expected for a restaurant known for seafood. The swordfish... I think we can leave it at the above.

Available for lunch on weekdays. I ordered the prix fixe menu and fried zucchini separately. Everything is delicious, and the store is bright and has a nice atmosphere. The store staff is also friendly and there are no problems.
