Very Rude manger Only one server who was also bar tender I order Martini that was just like water
The food at Baazi was excellent, but that's not the issue. There is a C grade (health inspection) posted in the kitchen. I don't eat at places that don't maintain an A, so this was alarming (we had already ordered). My friend looked up the grading at NYCEatSafe and it turns out Baazi was cited for 35 violations in 2023, including rats. The Health.nyc.gov site currently lists the grading as a C. No grade is posted in their front window, a law in New York. Be aware of the health risks before eating here.
This is such a great local spot! There are so many dishes we'd never tried that we were recommended, absolutely will be back!
We went there for our anniversary. Our waitress, Fatima, was just great! She gave us really good suggestions and even made the wonderful cocktails. It's so nice to have found another good restaurant in our neighborhood!! We went there for our anniversary.
Amazing food and overall a great experience. Nihari lamp and goat curry were the highlights and the Kofta was also amazing. Will go there again soon.
There was only one server for the entire restaurant, so service was frantic but slow. Cocktails were ordered - an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan. Both were way off, not the correct recipe. We ordered an Indian beer. The server poured out the entire bottle at the bar and brought only the glass to the table. No way to tell what the beer was or if the entire contents was poured. Server should serve the bottle and pour only a little, as the beer in the bottle doesn't get flat and warm. Food was served by kitchen staff. No one stopped by the table to ask how was the food.
I understand that the management and the chef are one and the same as that of Awadh, where I ate a number of times. Well, the menu is different but the quality is the same. I loved the lamb chops and the goat. Spice level was fine. Because it ws a holiday the beautifully appointed dining room was quiet, enabling good conversation. I have no idea what it will be like when all tables are filled. We were happy with the service and never felt rushed.
This intimate dining experience was full of Flavor and Hospitality The staff were attentive, yet not intrusive, making several suggestions that turned out to be delicious The Bollywood music 🎶 was a nice touch, Indian House music Loved it
Food was good, great atmosphere the water spilled water in my table and didn't wipe it up the entire stay, wasn't as attentive to our table as he was to others but the dessert was tasty do not recall the name.
The food at BAZI is outstanding. We make a point of having dinner at BAZI every time we come to NY from Boston. Every dish is delicious so it is difficult to chose. This trip we had the lamb ka akulfBarraeh, Paratwala kofta, Darib ka kulfa, rice and raita. Everything was Terrific. We ate on the early side-around 6:30- and the noise level was civilized with conversation easy.

The food was excellent! Chef was very humble and nice , we had a good chat and me and my family enjoyed the food !
The best meal I've ever had in NYC. Such care and attention was obviously made when creating the most delicious, fresh, and authentic menu. Soft decor is beautiful. Servers delivered a fine dining experience. Do yourself a favor and order many plates of CHANNA SAMOS. I will dream of it until I return. Perfection!
Fantastic spot! This was our second time and we highly recommend it. Great vibe, friendly staff, delicious food and eclectic cocktails. They even went above and beyond and made rumali roti for us which wasn't on the menu. Will def come back here often!
Exquisite food, chic yet comfortable seating/decor, and friendly staff. Loved the food and wine. Can't wait to come back both for a date night and girls night out- truly delicious!
We received lovely and attentive service. And all questions we had about the food and drinks were answered in full and with patience. Cauliflower appetizer was cooked perfectly, crisp and no mushiness, with delicately spiced rich sauce. Saag paneer also fresh and delicious. Chicken korma was tender and its sauce abundant and creamy deliciousness. We are looking forward to returning and trying more items!
