I understand that the management and the chef are one and the same as that of Awadh, where I ate a number of times. Well, the menu is different but the quality is the same. I loved the lamb chops and the goat. Spice level was fine. Because it ws a holiday the beautifully appointed dining room was quiet, enabling good conversation. I have no idea what it will be like when all tables are filled. We were happy with the service and never felt rushed.

The food at BAZI is outstanding. We make a point of having dinner at BAZI every time we come to NY from Boston. Every dish is delicious so it is difficult to chose. This trip we had the lamb ka akulfBarraeh, Paratwala kofta, Darib ka kulfa, rice and raita. Everything was Terrific. We ate on the early side-around 6:30- and the noise level was civilized with conversation easy.

The best meal I've ever had in NYC. Such care and attention was obviously made when creating the most delicious, fresh, and authentic menu. Soft decor is beautiful. Servers delivered a fine dining experience. Do yourself a favor and order many plates of CHANNA SAMOS. I will dream of it until I return. Perfection!
Fantastic spot! This was our second time and we highly recommend it. Great vibe, friendly staff, delicious food and eclectic cocktails. They even went above and beyond and made rumali roti for us which wasn't on the menu. Will def come back here often!

We received lovely and attentive service. And all questions we had about the food and drinks were answered in full and with patience. Cauliflower appetizer was cooked perfectly, crisp and no mushiness, with delicately spiced rich sauce. Saag paneer also fresh and delicious. Chicken korma was tender and its sauce abundant and creamy deliciousness. We are looking forward to returning and trying more items!

This is the best biryani I have ever had. The aroma and flavor has incredible depth! I highly recommend the veg biryani and look forward to trying other items!
Our server, Ravi, was slammed due to being short staffed. He rose to the occasion and was just incredibly attentive and personable and helpful! Can't say enough about how lovely an experience it was!

Absolute best biryani in town (Sufiana chicken/murgh biryani). The secret is to order it “extra spicy.”In general, almost all the food is excellent and authentic. Take it from a real north Indian.As a caveat, if you do not like spicy food, this might not be your jam. However, real Indian food is spicy, and if you want the real deal, this is the place to have it.
