karoke guy is an not nice. I don’t use that term lightly - my friend group are the only ones here and won’t let us sing because we are “bad” everybody at karaoke is bad, it’s for fun laughs and being with your friends. Ridiculous and rude. Takes the fun out of karoke! Clearly their comments on the other reviews proves they are not a serious establishment and thinks it’s funny to “clap back” and be “sassy” what a joke…

I randomly stumbled upon this gem and fell in love ! I was bar hopping around the area and couldn't pass the Karaoke sign. I'm so glad I went in ! The bar is divided into 2 areas. The part with the bar in the front, which flows into the 2nd room with the karaoke. Earlier in the evening most people dancing were in the karaoke side of things but the place did gradually fill up. You get a karaoke ticket for each drink you purchase. Everyone who sings with you must turn in a ticket to go on stage. Honestly it was a great system! They also have a virtual karaoke list which is amazing (why don't more places have this?). They also have themed lists if you can decide what to search for. Everyone here - from the door guy to the bartenders to the people - we're so sweet and welcoming. It was just such a positive pocket of NYC and I'm so glad I found it

Pretty solid karaoke bar. Their selection of songs is huge. The beer selection is decent and I haven't tried the food.

As somebody who has been a regular for a while, the new changes don't really sit right with me. It's become really strict, the DJ will basically reprimand you on stage if you forget a singular karaoke ticket (even if you have it and have given it to her already) and it's taken the fun out for me. Dj has a list of songs she doesn't want to hear again/songs she wants to hear. Which is fine, but the whole point of karaoke is that your group sings what you guys want to sing. And if I have to buy a drink for every person on stage, I don't want that to be dictated by the DJ. I personally don't think karaoke should be so methodical and planned out- the whole point is spontaneity Bartenders are awesome and so is bouncer

Bartenders were rude. Drinks were watered down. DJ was legitimately terrible and refused to play other people’s songs. Please take my advice and go to any other bar in Manhattan.

I’ll never come to this bar again. We paid good money for our drinks but the blonde DJ refused to play our song “Marvin’s Room” by Drake for karaoke. It’s one thing to tell us “hey we can’t play your song of choice” it’s another thing entirely to waste our time and take our money.Steer clear of this bar. Plenty of far better spots in Manhattan of all places.

Just bad. Impossible to get a song to sing and the karaoke bouncer/person that " guards the stage " gropes and attacks women.

Bartender very politely told me I couldn't use the bathroom unless I bought something. I can only guess as to why they only had one customer during happy hour, but it might be the friendly lack of hospitality. I asked if there were any places I could use a bathroom without making a purchase, and she said, "No." I went next door, and the barIsta let me use the bathroom for free. When I came out, I got a coffee. It was delicious. Don't go to AWOL.Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids.
