Very nice atmosphere and good food.
Style full African designed interior, maybe the light was a little too bright but the rest was absolutely perfect.

The server was knowledgeable, super friendly and explained everything we wanted to know.

The presentation of the dishes was everything! Original and style full. Like a gift that was presented to you.

I had the lamb with asperges as a side my friend the chicken with the joloff rice. We had bites of each other and we both loved both dishes. A number of times she said those asperges are so good! And boy did I enjoy the Joloff rice!

The restaurant is also kid friendly. There was a nice family next to us with a seat for the little one and we enjoyed chatting with them for a bit.

We had a great time. You could see and feel in everything that the owner, has a passion for what he does and takes his craft very serious. A place I totally recommend.

If you’re vegetarian this IS your spot! They are very accommodating and have fresh and interesting veg friendly sides and main courses. Excellent customer service, excellent food, & excellent vibes! I highly recommend the jollof rice, mixed vegetables, & pasta!

This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Everything is top tier: staff, service, ambience and, of course, the food.
We had the Jollof Rice with Lamb, Rassida’s Salmon and Avocado Toast. Tiramisu and Red Velvet Cake for dessert - chef’s kiss! I would definitely come back when I’m in town.

Customer service was excellent & the place is cute! The food that I tried was okay... My heritage is Nigerian, and I was anticipating some really good jollof rice, but.... The suya was okay... It could've been a little more tender and more spicy.

Azara Kitchen blew me away! I was craving something different, and this spot delivered in every way. The blend of African and Mediterranean flavors is just perfect. every bite was packed with flavor! The spices were balanced, and the portions were generous. The staff made me feel right at home, too, with warm, friendly service. I can tell they put so much love into the food here. Definitely a new favorite – if you haven’t been, you’re missing out!

I ordered food at 1pm the app said pick up at 1:33 pm I get there and the food was still not done. This place has no respect for other people's time. Do not order from them if you are at work your whole lunch will pass you by while waiting for them to prepare your food. They want you think they are preparing okra and lamb stew only when ordered that's a lie okra take too long to cook for them to start cooking after you order. This was the second time today they took forever to prepare my meal

First off, this place is so clean the tile sparkles. This was our first time eating West African food and the waitress was very helpful in explaining what everything was and helping us pick out flavors.
Everything we ordered was delicious, piping hot, and the portions were just right. They will ask you "sparkling or still," just say tap. We made the mistake of thinking "still" was tap. We ended up paying for 2 fancy glass bottles of water.
In addition to coffee, they sell very nice juices to go made in house.

Kid-friendliness: It's kids friendly, but just know it's a little tight. We had an infant in a stroller and there was just enough room for the stroller, it was fine as there was no one at the table next to us.

Great place! It was such a surprise. I thought of going to Sylvia’s but wanted something different. Azara is just down the block from Sylvia’s and I’m glad I took a chance. The food was a great combination of hearty and elegant. I had the avocado toast and my friend had the Jollof lamb. They were brilliant! My friend lives in Harlem and didn’t know about this place. We’ve decided this is going to be our go-to place from now on. We didn’t know about African food and now we love it. We got to talk with the chef Ousman and Sali and Alex - nice and professional and gracious. My friend called iood with love and care.

The food takes forever to come out, but it’s worth it every time. Seriously, compliments to the chef, who is from Burkina Faso by the way. ??

Amazing accidental discovery. The DiBi Lamb was so flavorful. And of course their 'private label' juices...try them all!!

A great little spot, extremely clean with great dishes. It’s about $20 a plate for lunch which is the higher end for this neighborhood, but the food was great and we’d happily be back. The chicken was really well seasoned, and the salad a healthy amount of dressing and parm - plenty of chicken! The jollof rice was delicious, and the lamb tender and well-cooked.
