Probably my fav restaurant for Vietnamese food in NYC, along with their sister restaurant Banh Ahem - moved the banh cuon and rice plate

The half hour wait was worth it the first time for excellent fish, tomato and noodle soup. Delicious flavors and the ingredients melted in my mouth. However my second visit was very disappointing. The fish was tough and obviously day-old. The tomato had been hastily cut in HALF without even removing the dark part where the stem connects to the fruit, and the GINGER was in such enormous chunks I thought it was POTATO. I was with friends from out of town so didn't want to complain to the staff. I am doing so here. Hope you're more careful next time.

Absolutely love this place! The pho is fresh and authentic, and the dry pho and Bánh mì are to die for. Everyone is so friendly, and Andrew is the best! he always remembers us by name. The restaurant is cute, always full, and has such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

SUPER OILY banh mi, soaked in pesto on a chewy moist roll. Menu says the protein is tofu but it’s half tofu & half ‘mock duck’ (the gross canned globs of oil-soaked wheat gluten).

The food was SOOOO good but the service was really bad, they brought out one person’s meal like 20 minutes after the rest of us got ours and we had to ask twice

I love the pho here so much. I’ve been coming here for several years now. During my last visit I was struck by the generous portion sizes. Will be coming here for as long as I live in nyc! No dish has disappointed me.

Fresh hearty and homemade. Fast service. Generous portions for the price. Really love the pork combo plate, especially the pork and the mushroom quiche. They have amazing spicy chili paste on the side. I also love their rice—round grained, unlike the generic rice you get at Asian restaurants.
Their fried fish noodle soup is amazing!! I love the fish cakes in the soup and the fresh dill. Their vegetable curry is also fantastic, so hearty and well-balanced (neither too salty nor too sweet, just perfect).

If you come at peak hours there can be a wait of up to half an hour. They do takeout.

Oishiiii. I know, wrong language, but it's really oishiiii. Mmmm. Vege curry had everything from potato to squash to lotus root, to okra. Yum! Savory orange color curry. Eclectic regional flavor. All the plates we had were plentiful. I see why there's usual a few minutes wait. But they said 20 min, and we got seated in five! Way to go. Friendly, handsome staff too.

Fantastic Vietnamese food - I love their weekend specials. It gets crowded FAST so come early if you can.

Service can be a bit patchy when it gets super crowded. But the food's worth it.
