The food is fantastic however I heard one of the staff this evening as I was entering the restaurant loudly and violently shouting pro-ICE rhetoric at another staff member. It is hard for me to believe that in this climate small businesses still support ICE. It is a shame because I have been to this restaurant a few times now and recommended this to my friends but unfortunately it seems they are very pro-ICE.

My takeout order was incorrect and when they went to fix it they gave me half portions of my pho and charged me full price. The service here has gotten worse over the last two years, I don’t think I’ll go anymore. Saiguette is just as good and better value/full portions.

This place outstanding. Really delicious pho broth (probably one of the best I’ve ever had). We ordered lots of apps, different drinks/coffees, and main courses, even took some banh mi’s home.

The sandwiches and appetizers are so good. The meat is not over cooked and just melts in your mouth. Perfect meal for a cold rainy day. I do have to say the pho is not good though. Not very flavorful, we tried the all beef pho and the duck noodle soup which were both a miss.

I ordered take out for my friend and myself and after reading so many raving reviews I really had high standards and was really craving it. I am very happy to confirm how delvious the pho was. The flavors were delicate yet complex, fresh and you can taste all the time and effort to make the broth it took to make. The beef had a nice taste and excellent texture and freshness. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the balance of the finishing ingredients was just right.
The presentation and the thought of preserving the authenticity to enjoy at home was well executed as well.
I will definitely be coming back. And recommending this restaurant to everyone.
I did not take pictures because I was tol excited and just enjoyed this amazing meal.

Anyone who gives this less than 5 stars has no clue what Vietnamese food is or thinks they do but actually does not (sorry to burst your bubble!).

This is not only authentic, but clean and high quality Vietnamese food with specialities from regions that are rarely coveted in a Vietnamese restaurant. Many restaurants in NYC and even OC have lots of nasty preservatives and fake flavors. This place doesn’t do that and it really represents what legit Viet food tastes like.

They are super busy, so don’t expect five star service. Nevertheless, they are kind, attentive, friendly and courteous, which isn’t always the case at a Viet restaurant!

Always try the specialties—they take a long time to make and are just the best.

If you can’t handle fish sauce and spicy, I would recommend you save your money and go elsewhere.

If you want high quality, authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place.

The half hour wait was worth it the first time for excellent fish, tomato and noodle soup. Delicious flavors and the ingredients melted in my mouth. However my second visit was very disappointing. The fish was tough and obviously day-old. The tomato had been hastily cut in HALF without even removing the dark part where the stem connects to the fruit, and the GINGER was in such enormous chunks I thought it was POTATO. I was with friends from out of town so didn't want to complain to the staff. I am doing so here. Hope you're more careful next time.
