The half hour wait was worth it the first time for excellent fish, tomato and noodle soup. Delicious flavors and the ingredients melted in my mouth. However my second visit was very disappointing. The fish was tough and obviously day-old. The tomato had been hastily cut in HALF without even removing the dark part where the stem connects to the fruit, and the GINGER was in such enormous chunks I thought it was POTATO. I was with friends from out of town so didn't want to complain...
Absolutely love this place! The pho is fresh and authentic, and the dry pho and Bánh mì are to die for. Everyone is so friendly, and Andrew is the best! he always remembers us by name. The restaurant is cute, always full, and has such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!
SUPER OILY banh mi, soaked in pesto on a chewy moist roll. Menu says the protein is tofu but it’s half tofu & half ‘mock duck’ (the gross canned globs of oil-soaked wheat gluten).
