Well I’m hoping it was just an odd night off for this establishment because the staff seemed to be in total chaos. I hope for their own mental health something was up that night and they don’t constantly live with this stress. It started when we came to check in for reservation. The hostess didn’t come back to the stand for maybe a 15 minutes which was odd. I checked in and she told us to wait at the stand while she went to check on a table. She came back a few minutes later and said it was going to be a minute since some tables were slow to pay and leave (remember that for later on). Then she left and I didn’t see her again for another 15 minutes. We had a show to catch so my husband and I spent that half hour planning what we were going to order. We sit down and wait maybe another 15 for our waiter to stop by. We ordered drinks and our food with him. That would be the last time us (or any one else around us) saw him. Kitchen staff ran the food out which came out quickly. The food was good. Not the best but firmly above average. Since we didn’t see our waiter again we didn’t get drink refills or could order additional drinks. Since we were in a hurry and no one was stopping by, we stacked our plates at the end of the table. Kitchen staff took them away. Still no waiter in sight to ask for a ticket (a few ran…seriously ran by but we couldn’t grab them). Another table went and asked for their waiter. Still nothing. We started doing the math and figured we’d leave enough cash to cover it at this point since we had a show to get to. I even moved our drinks to the end of the table hoping to catch someone’s attention and put our coats on. Finally the hostess came and asked us if we needed something. She brought us our bill. The tables around us were still asking for a waiter when we left. I think we waited maybe another half hour for the bill once we were done eating.

food: the short ribs were good, but idt it's worth $36. the arancini was not bad, but also not worth $19 since there's not much. the drinks were not good at all; it was just liquor with whip cream on top. overall very pricey for the quality.
there's also an automatic 20% gratuity charge
service: food took about 30min to come out. service could be better.
atmosphere: the place is really decked out. when we went, Frosty's was closed for a private event. I'm not sure if you're usually allowed to go explore and take pics.

Wow - very surprised. We went here pre-broadway show and the food was great! We had the ravioli, short rib, fried chicken, salmon, etc., and it was all delicious. Good sized portions and the service was accommodating and fast. I definitely recommend stopping by before a show.

Excellent monument. It looks super beautiful.
Food was completely inedible. Service was awful probably because they add 18% gratuity to your check without permission and when you change it they charge you anyway. Reporting to BBB for fraudulent credit charges.

We went there for a holiday themed lunch at 12:45. The decorations for Christmas were beautiful and very impressive. However, the music ruined the experience. Instead of playing holiday music, they had country and rap music on. It just didn’t match the atmosphere. If you are going to go all out decorating for the holidays play the right music to complete the experience. After all, atmosphere was the reason we visited your restaurant during the holidays.
The food was nothing special. I had the omelette. If it had 2 eggs I would be surprised as the portion was tiny.
Overall, I don’t recommend it. They missed the boat.

In late November, we went to Bacall’s to soak up the holiday spirit. And my goodness, they was full of holiday spirit!!! From the moment we walked in, the inside was decked out with crazy amount of decorations. You go up the staircase to upper level to the main dining area.
It was called Frosty’s Christmas Bar inside the Bacall’s, and it sure was spectacular. Decoration in every inch of the place, from top to bottom. In addition to that, they had a few photo-op spots, which were really fun too.
We ordered some drinks, Meet Me at Bacall’s, Espresso Martini, and White Sangria. I liked that they had some blueberries in the Meet Me at Bacall's and the White Sangria. All the drinks were all nice and tasty, and a good portion too.
For food, one of us ordered Braised Short Rib, but we somehow received Filet Mignon… Since the server never really came back to check on us, we just had that. It was a nice dish, although it was not what we ordered.
Linguini Vongole was nice, the pasta was cooked well, coated in the flavorful sauce. It had a good amount of clams.
Steak Frites was tasty. The steak was cooked just the way I wanted, juicy and flavorful. It was a nice sized steak, very filling too. The fries were addictive, went great with the steak.
For dessert, I was very interested in their layer cake. I saw a few pictures of it, and looked really good. Bacall’s 16 Layer Cream Cake looked different from the pictures I saw, which was all ivory color. The one we received was festive with red and green, perfect for holiday dessert. Unfortunately, it only looked good. Each layer of cake was a bit tough, and not as creamy as I thought it would be.
Good thing we also ordered Japanese Cheesecake, because it was quite good. I was very curious what makes it “Japanese” cheesecake. When it arrived, I got it. The cake was round and stacked on top of each other, looks like popular and famous Japanese soufflé pancakes.
We had a fun dinner there, with overload of holiday decorations. The atmosphere was perfect to take in the holiday spirit. However, we couldn’t say the same for the service. At the beginning, it was ok, but then we felt like we were forgotten by our waiter. The place was not that busy when we visited... He never really came by to check on us, or brough our check. We had to get whoever else around to get our check.
When we saw that they already included 20% tip to the check, although there were just three of us, we understood the bad service. If they thought they are going to get 20% tip regardless, then they might think they don’t need to provide good service… Bringing the wrong dish, never checking on us, etc. Regardless to say, we were disappointed with the service. But, it was a fun place to go visit during the holiday season.

After waiting for our food for almost 90 minutes we had to leave to catch our show. The waiter never checked in to tell us that the kitchen was running behind or offer alternatives. He just didn’t come back after taking our order. The people sitting around us had similar experiences.
The food arrived as we were walking out, so we took it to go. The food itself, when we ate it later at home, was disappointing, with small portions and mediocre quality. Overall, a terrible experience.

I was there on 11/21/24 while traveling with my family. I tough everything had gone well, until I realized I got charged double for the same amount on my card. I first thought it would clear the next day and didnt give much thought to it. But by Friday the next day it had already added i to one single amount for example $55 and $55 was now reflecting as a $110 charge on my account. I called my bank and opened a claim. Since i dint save the ticket now I will have to wait where it goes.

Went today 11/13/24 for happy hour, 2 glasses of wine came to 18 dollars, my friend had a Malibu and coke that cost 16 dollars. When the check came I payed by Apple Pay the sever told me that he would need to take my phone to the till as the card machine wasn’t mobile.. I just checked as he took 100 dollars out of my account when the bill was just under 50 dollars in total! I have tried to ca to rectify but no one is answering and we are now on our way home!
Have emailed you… still awaiting a reply after your response!
Went here on a Sunday around noon. There was 8 of us and we did not have a reservation. The restaurant was empty, and the hostess said all the tables were reserved and taken, but we could grab the bar tables and order from there.
Our food took over an hour… surprising that this is how long the restaurant took for their service. We followed up and asked, and it took another 20 minutes. It seemed like the waiter forgot to enter our order. When we walked to the restroom, where the restaurant had “reserved” tables….the entire restaurant was EMPTY!!! The whole time we were there…no one was at the tables…so how did their service take so long??? Did they have reservations for dinner time, but denied us to sit there for lunch time because they take 2 hours to prep food??? We didn’t even order much food.
When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t even good..it wasn’t worth the wait. We spent over 2 hours in that restaurant and lost time with sight seeing tours. This is NYC, everyone’s in a rush! Thankfully we didn’t miss a Broadway show for this crappy restaurant. I DO NOT advise anyone to come here, specially if you have a Broadway show to catch.

Good and drinks took longer. Their excuse was that they were packed but it was not full at all
Shout out to the person who left the review before me. We were on of the other groups with a 6:00pm reservation who waited 45 minutes for our table. The whole time the hosts were dismissive, the manager (at least who we perceived to be the manager, in the hideous striped pants) was rude beyond belief, the bathrooms were gross, and to kick it off the food was awful. Do not recommend for a pre show meal. You’ll risk missing your show or going hungry.
