Came here on a food tour and the bagels are true New York style bagels You will not be disappointed !! Made a point to come back the following year and they're exactly as I remembered
Every neighborhood in this partisan city has its best place that makes bagels fresh all day and serves them with cream cheese, lox, or whitefish. This is that place for Greenwich Village. The bagel has gorgeous texture and there’s always something hot—straight out of the oven. This isn’t just round bread, this is a proper NYC bagel. Live dangerously: Get the pumpernickel.
I go every Monday at 3:00 PM because for one hour the (EXCELLENT) plain bagels are ONLY $0.75 each.
I get Egg Bagels, Rye Bagels, Pumpernickel Bagels, Cinnamon-Raisin Bagels, & and Bialys, and they are all SUPERB.
PLEASE, do NOT go on Mondays; there are already too many people on line 🤣
