Boss Bagel was underwhelming overall. The bagel itself was very average- dry and more like soft bread than a true New York–style bagel. The cream cheese was good, and the service was prompt and friendly. Sandwiches were okay, but nothing that stood out.

The quality is good but I had to stop ordering from here. There is ALWAYS something missing. Tired of telling uber I’m missing 1,2, or 3 items

Fresh bagels with tons of toppings to choose from. Their lox cream cheese is amazing. Clean seating area and fast service. Perfect morning breakfast spot.

Bagel Boss Murray Hill is the perfect neighborhood bagel shop — the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular after just one visit. The bagels? Absolutely massive — we’re talking “you could use one as a pillow” big — yet somehow still light, airy, and perfectly chewy. Each bite is a delightful mix of crisp exterior and fluffy interior, proving they’ve mastered the art of the perfect bagel.

The variety is fantastic — whether you’re craving a classic everything bagel with cream cheese, a sweet cinnamon raisin, or a bold jalapeño cheddar, there’s something for everyone. Even your gluten-free friend or picky eater will leave happy.

The shop itself is spotless, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier — warm smiles, quick service, and always happy to recommend their favorites. It’s the kind of place that feels like part of the community, where locals gather and visitors leave wishing they lived closer.

đŸ„Ż Don’t just grab one — you’ll regret it. Stock up for the week because these bagels are too good to last long in your kitchen!

I Ordered on grubhub. The sandwich is a smoked Atlantic nova sandwich. The picture the restaurant has attached to the app is a bagel with cream cheese, lox, onions, tomato, and capers. The drop-down menu only allows you to choose your cream cheese and your bagel type and whether you want the salad or not. I just looked at my food. It only has cream cheese and lox. It’s too late for me to go back. I called the store and they stated that you have to add that you want those things in the description box which makes no sense to me. Why would a person add a food item that listed and pictured with all these items but then you have to tell them again in the description what you want on it. If I were to go in person and order the same thing I wouldn’t have to tell them that I want those items. I should only have to notate what I don’t want. $18 bagel with none of the things that’s supposed to come with. Very disappointed.
