Been wanting to give this place a chance and finally did. Bagel wasn’t toasted. I ordered a BLT with a fried egg. One piece of lettuce and two pieces of bacon. Then they charged me for EXTRA bacon lol. $11 for nothing. What a waste.

I ordered a BEC sandwich and noticed the cook opening an old sandwich meant for someone else, reheated the eggs and cheese , and tried to sell it. When I mentioned I’m not paying for a reheated sandwich (I don’t want food poisoning), he offered to make another one but not before getting mad with an attitude that I called him out on it.
If anyone is feeling queasy on the morning of 9-27-24, it’s because you’re eating reheated eggs from unsold sandwiches and should report it to the Department of Health, as I certainly will.
I feel bad for anyone who orders from here using food delivery services and don’t see the shortcuts the workers take.

First day in NYC we went to a bigger, fancier bagel place and I was a tad disappointed as I knew we could find better. Day 2 we tried here and that was it for the week. This place is old school but doing it right. It’s also cheaper than the schmancy places!
