The Vegan Prime Bacon Egg & Cheese was worth every penny Definitely order the Prime Bacon Egg & Cheese ($12.95) Featuring Prime Roots, Applewood Bacon, Egg & Cheese (everything bagel). Updated from previous review on 2026-03-15

Food was excellent. Bagel sandwich was delicious! Service was good. It’s crowded and lots of people come through in a short period of time so not everyone cleans up after themselves…

This bustling bagel shop packs people in and out for big delicious bagel sandwiches. Midtown prices are no objects for those lining up for all flavors and coffee, probably because the bagels are big and delicious and the line moves efficiently. It’s a real New York feeling, tourists and all, with a combination of all ages and backgrounds ready for the classic breakfast take.

I had the smoked salmon special on everything untoasted, scooped with scallion cream cheese. It was great - the ultra thin cucumbers meshed so well with the tomato. Untoasted came out faster, too; I walked out faster than I thought.

It’s busy as heck, so enter and move to the left for the line. There are menus you can grab and read as you move.

There are a few small tables in the back. Super well run by experienced staff.

We are from out of town and went here for breakfast. We have a gluten allergy in our party and both the server Shivani and the guy making the drinks were SO helpful. I wish I got the man's name, but he even double checked the syrup to make sure that it didn't contain gluten. And even gave us some bagel chips. And that was just the stellar service. The food was amazing too! No sprinkling of toppings, mine was FULL of fresh avocado and bacon. I only wish I could give it a higher score. Definitely a great place to go. There was no line when we went but I wouldn't be surprised if they get busy during prime hours.

Favourite bagel shop whenever in town. Generous amount of cheese and nicely toasted. Store layout was cutesy but seemed best to me to have takeout

French toast bagel isn’t what I expected but it is good I wish it was more soft and sweet,

Not a true New York bagel. Also very very stingy with the butter. My bagel was basically naked.

The service was absolutely terrible. While placing my order, I politely asked if it was possible to change the bread of a sandwich to a bagel. Before the employee who was taking my order could even respond, another worker interrupted and gave me a blunt “NO,” in a very rude and unhelpful way.

On top of that, I ordered a hot chai latte that was extremely hot and ended up burning myself. I informed the staff about what happened and asked for a cup of ice to help with the burn. I was told that if I wanted it, I had to pay for it.

I understand that businesses have their own rules, but in a situation like this, basic empathy and customer care should come first. The experience was very unpleasant, the service was inhumane, and completely unprofessional.
I would definitely not return or recommend this place.

The family loved it. Right around the corner from where we’re staying. I got a Bagel with cream cheese and the family got Bagel sandwiches. They didn’t take too long to get make. Choice of Bagels was limited though.
Ample seating in the second floor.

Don't get the matcha! Over 8 dollars just to see someone pour matcha syrup out of a monin bottle in. Tastes awful and so over priced.

I stayed just a couple of blocks from Bagel to Sandwich while visiting New York, and of course bagels were a must for breakfast. This was the closest spot with good reviews, so we decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up loving it so much that we came back a second day for breakfast again.

I was really impressed by the selection of bagels. There are so many different flavors and colors, including a special red and green Christmas bagel when we visited. They also have a huge selection of cream cheeses, including some really unique flavors like birthday cake and Oreo. Personally, my go-to is an egg everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese, and I was very satisfied. It may not have been the absolute best bagel I’ve ever had in New York, but it was still very good.

On the second day, I considered getting a bagel with chicken salad, but when I saw it, it looked a bit watery and unappetizing, so I stuck with cream cheese again. My family was very happy with their choices as well. My sister got the rainbow bagel with strawberry cream cheese the first day and said it was amazing. The second day, she ordered an egg everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese and absolutely loved it.

We also really enjoyed their milk tea. It comes in the cutest container and was very tasty without being overly sweet. We ordered milk tea both days because we liked it so much.

The shop was not crowded at all around 8:30 a.m., and we got our bagels and drinks very quickly. The second day we went later, around 10:30 a.m., and it was extremely crowded. The line for ordering moved pretty quickly, but we did have to wait a bit longer for our food, and the small shop felt crowded while waiting. That said, it didn’t take away from how good the bagels were.

They also sell an assortment of unique candy, and their pastries and cookies looked really good, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Overall, it was a really great experience, and if you’re in the Times Square area and need a bagel, I think this is your best choice.

Since this bagel shop is located in Times Square, I was expecting a really lousy bagel. I had an Everything Bagel with Butter here and it was better than what I expected. It's a small and crowded spot (understandable given it's location).
