I was in the neighborhood and only had a few minutes for lunch. Great thin crust pizza with crispy bottom part. I felt the cheese they use lacked a bit of taste however I think that is because it lacks salt which should not be held against them. Adding rosemary and salt took care of it.

I go almost every day this place has a perfect cheese slice. uses the classic Grande cheese and perfect sauce..crispy thin crust and perfect proportions of ingredients...NYC pizza has become a joke but this place is definitely #1...I work from dykman to battery park dialy...best in the city right now ...YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE... start with the cheese slice..then try every thing else..

I got a slice of pepperoni pizza just to say I had a New York slice while walking by. It was good - excellent texture on the thin crust, sufficient toppings, nice with Parmesan cheese. One slice was definitely not enough for a lunch - I could probably eat 2-3 easily. Was it $5 for a slice good? I wouldn't say so, but that seems on par with other places like Joe's now, and there's minimal wait comparatively. So for NYC prices, it's solid.
