The cutest gem in St. Marks!!! I hosted a birthday at Barcade on the same block and needed a cake. The women on the phone is the same one I picked up the most delicious moist-chocolate cake I've ever tasted from!!! She was super nice and the cake cutter, candles, AND happy birthday sign all came with the cake no extra charge! I'm def coming back to try more desserts. So happy I found them.

Asian desserts with unique flavors and quality ingredients that have just a hint of sweet (which I love!) If they used less packaging/plastic I would buy all the time. For now it'll have to be an occasional treat!

March 17, 2024: I got the Jasmine Matcha Crepe and the chocolate mini cake. The crepe was terrible. In the beginning you taste the matcha but after it’s in your mouth it taste like an old perfume and lotion combined. This has a terrible after taste, I thought by accident I was eating my lip gloss but no it’s the cake.Next was the chocolate cake, the only good part of the chocolate cake was the oreo on top. The cake tasted like they made it with water and had no flavour. I couldn’t finish it.The interior is very cute and the young lady at the register was very sweet, but I would not come here again due to the lack of flavor in the desserts.———-UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 star to 3. The manager was kind enough to give me a refund for this and allow me to choose a desert. I ended up picking the egg tart, it was okay.. Again, the workers are very kind and helpful, I just personally did not like the deserts. But it is nice seeing a shop that is respectful and accommodating to their customers.

Such a nice enviroment to have some sweets. Came in with my family after dinner. We had ordered the strawberry cake and blueberry cake. Along with a few pastries. The Crispies were amazing! So addicting. I had to order another box to go. Crispy pastry with sweet marshmallow filling.

Great spot located in st marks if you’re looking for a quick bite. They have limited seating, but a huge selection. Whether you’re looking for something savory or sweet, they have both!

Underwhelming and disappointed. their baked goods and mini cakes look good on the outside. However at first bite you will notice that the cane itself is dry, the cream lacks and burst of flavor. Perhaps a light layer of fruit jam or preserve could help add moisture or flavor but as it stands I would not buy from them again.

BE AWARE!!! I got severe food poisoning from the mini pork floss cake bought from here. I bought it yesterday and stored it in refrigerator immediately after got home, when I ate it this morning I felt nausea short after, and got severe diarrhea afterwards. I scrolled up the reviews and saw other people also saying their pork floss cakes are not fresh… just really huge disappointment

I had a delightful visit to Bake Culture at St. Marks, and here's my review:Bake Culture is a charming little bakery with an array of cute pastries that wouldn't be out of place in an anime. The selection is not only visually appealing but also offers a unique and enjoyable taste experience. One of my personal favorites was the Burberry Tart, a treat that not only looked fantastic but also tasted delicious. However, there was a slight letdown with the Key Lime pastry, which didn't meet my expectations in terms of flavor. One of the standout features of Bake Culture is its reasonable prices, making it accessible for those looking to enjoy delightful pastries without breaking the bank.In summary, Bake Culture at St. Marks is a lovely bakery with a range of adorable pastries that will remind you of anime. While some offerings may vary in taste, the overall experience is a positive one, enhanced by the affordability of their treats.

I love Bake Culture. Their Taro Bun is delicious and I get cravings. And now they have fluffy, not too sweet, individual cakes - my favorite is their Rose Lychee with pieces of lychee in the cake.
