I’ve been a loyal customer of Baked by Melissa and have made it a tradition to order your cupcakes every year for my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this location was disappointing.
When I arrived to pick up my order, I was met with a very rude and dismissive response from someone named Karen. When I asked a simple question, she responded with, “IDK, I don’t work here,” which was both confusing and unprofessional. If she is interacting with customers, she should be properly trained, or perhaps reconsidered for a customer-facing role.
I truly hope this is addressed, as this tradition is special to me and I’d like to continue supporting Baked by Melissa in the future.

If you’re in the mood for a sweet adventure, Baked by Melissa on Lexington Ave is the place to be! I stopped in and grabbed a box of 25 mini cupcakes, and wow — it was like hitting the dessert jackpot.
First off, the employees were fantastic — super knowledgeable, helpful, and more than happy to guide me through their impressive selection. They recommended some standout flavors, and I’m so glad they did!
Now, let’s talk cupcakes. Each one is a tiny work of art — beautifully decorated and almost too pretty to eat… almost. While all the flavors are worth trying, Red Velvet and Cookies & Cream stole my heart (and my taste buds). The Red Velvet was rich and moist with that perfect hint of cocoa, topped with a smooth cream cheese frosting that balanced sweet and tangy like a dream. The Cookies & Cream? Pure magic — a soft, chocolatey base with a creamy, Oreo-inspired topping that’s dangerously addictive.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their flavors — they’ve mastered the art of packing big taste into a tiny package. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or picking up a party-perfect box, Baked by Melissa is a must-visit.

For the price and size of the pastries, this is the most overrated, overhyped, most unfulfilling dessert I have ever had. Miniatures is not the word I would use to describe what I purchased, it is more like a taste test. It not enough substance to inform you if it is tasty or not. You will left unsatisfied. Eat well my friends.

I bought 100 gluten free cupcakes for my kids 7th birthday. The bag they gave me contained 25 regular cupcakes. No one responds to emails or answers the phone. The kid has celiac disease. I can’t leave work to show up in person. Accidents happen but zero attempt to fix it were made. She was heart

I give this place a BIG "Zero"! I walked in ,no customer, 1 staff member, she was friendly, HOWEVER I could purchase, due to the fact, NO CASH ACCEPTED, payment machine only accepts Cards With Chips! It's A Sign Poster " Cashlesss Store" I can see WHY! YIKES

Cute little cupcakes. Cute little tattoos and stickers. I was in a rush and didn’t notice how small they were, I would’ve gotten more. My toddler was clearly happy with her purchase and gobbled up all 6 of them. They were so good she couldn’t share even 1! ?

Store was empty. They offered only frozen cupcakes boxes for to go. I wished i was able to try different flavor on the spot.Anyway they tasted better than i expected.I got 12 tie dye and the Thanksgiving box.Every single one was amazing!!!
