Do not order from bakedbymelissa online. Not only did I not receive my order on time, I was unable to call or reach anyone. If you want to not receive your cupcakes on time, then go ahead and order.

These are the best tasting macaroons that I have ever eaten. We got a large box of 25 and they arrived fresh and packaging was excellent. Presentation was beautifully packaged and they all tasted good. Definitely try them!

We have always loved Baked by Melissa - the tiny cupcakes are just fun. Warning to all - never purchase gift cards from them. I was given a gift card to go in and purchase some for a treat (live in NYC). I went into the store - they didn't know how to use the gift card, kept trying to say it was a discount code (I had the email saying it was a $50 gift card). Spent 30 minutes in the store while they tried to figure it out - they still didn't know what to do, were trying to work through it with corporate - but NOTHING, so I left. While trying to figure out how to use the gift card, the cashier activated it - so when I then tried to use the code online, it said it was no longer valid. Emailed and called corporate to try and get a refund for the gift card - no response. Extremely poor customer service - will stick to other places for cupcakes from now on.Updated on 9/1: They have NOT been in contact - I've emailed them TWICE and there has been ZERO response from customer service - STILL.

Baked by Melissa is a cute idea. These bite-sized homemade cupcakes are sold in assorted packs. They frequently change up their menu. They also offer vegan, gluten free, and no nuts cupcakes for those with dietary restrictions. BTW, they sell nationwide too. 4 stars.

No, just no. These aren't cupcakes or at least not tasty ones. I love to bake, but don't always have time, so when I buy cupcakes I do expect them to be as good, preferably better than mine. These are all gimmick, lacking in balanced flavour and way overpriced.
Pick up is easy but i dont buy like I used to because delivery is a riff off and you can no longer go pick up your own flavors. You have to order that online. In store has prepackaged cupcakes. No thanks.

An absolute nightmare to order a birthday cake from, they forgot the right date that we told them it had to be ready by (it was for a birthday party for God sakes). My sisters boyfriend took a 30 dollar metro north ride to get the vegan cake that was supposed to be ready that day, but they said they thought it was schedule for 10 days later. No cake for her birthday party. We were told we would get it for free when it was ready, called back day of to make sure they really had it this time and a different very rude person told us that they were never gonna make a free cake and the person who told us that go in trouble.... So why didn't someone notify us??

Met with a friend of mine and while walking I saw this shop. I got a quick 12 pack and I do have to admit, this one tasted better than some others I've had. The hostess there was very nice and friendly. Had to get a couple of bites in before heading to the final destination. Over all these were very moist and delicious!!

I went in for a birthday gift for my friend and the staff, Xavier was extremely friendly and helped me make my decision on what to purchase. It was such a great experience for an in store purchase and even though it may be a little pricey I think it was totally worth it for the quality!

Unfortunately, baked by Melissa has fallen in their delivery. You can no longer walk in and pick your own cupcakes, everything is prepackaged, and you don't know how fresh they are. This is an unfortunate change of circumstances as the whole point of going to Baked by Melissa was to see the fresh little cupcakes coming out, and to choose which ones you felt like having at any moment. It is NOT worth paying $32 for a prepackaged set of 25 cupcakes. Needless to say, I will not be buying them any longer. So sad...
