Our 3rd visit and again a wonderful dining experience. Service is excellent. The food perfectly presented and prepared and delicious. Drinks and atmosphere are great. We travel more than 30 minutes , but it's more than worth the effort.
Balade is fantastic. Amazing Lebanese cuisine and great cocktails. Will be back and highly recommend to others.
Service and atmosphere was fine, the staff were friendly and mostly attentive, but unfortunately the food wasn't too impressive. The appetizers were good, including the hummus, kebbe kras, and a few others, but the salmon entree was overcooked with bland potatoes (which is surprising since the batata harra appetizer had much better potatoes in it). Also never a huge fan of restaurants that charge an "operational fee" on top of the tip and tax we're already paying.
We had the Kebbe Kras with Laban and it was soooo delicious! The Tarboush Chicken Pita pizza was so flavorful. The portions are generous.
Despite the service being a little slow, the food was fantastic. It was busy for restaurant week so that definitely could have added to the wait times for food. It was also very loud so keep that in mind, there’s also outdoor seating.
Overall, I would definitely come back to try more dishes given how flavorful everything was!

Fantastic food ! Very nice staff - would have been helpful to have another server - was busy and had to wait a bit when asking for more Drinks - food - dessert .
Came here for restaurant week. Such a great value. Servings were generous and we were able to split a bunch of things to try. The labneh was really creamy. The sambousik was also delicious — very robust with the ground beef and properly stuffed. The falafel pizza was really good, better with some labneh on top. The ashta pudding was AWESOME. So subtle with the taste and the consistency was superb, like a richer panne cotta. Will definitely return. The servers were so attentive and patient.
go here for the grilled meats/street dishes like shawarma but almost no comfort dishes. the tenderloin lamb kebab I had was grilled almost perfectly---juicy, well seasoned
I was completely ignored for 10 mins by the door and 20-30 mins at the bar counter. I get that they were busy but it helps to at least get some basic guidance/acknowledgement. once seated though, my waitress was beyond kind and helpful <3.
everyday books on Lebanese cooking, michellin guides, etc lined the walls. reservations highly recommended. I walked in at 9pm and even then the entire space remained completely packed basically until close. two tables celebrated their bdays in my 1.5h there, w staff playing a bday song over the entire dining room's speakers and bringing out dessert sparklers seemingly w a complimentary dessert. def makes me curious to come here for a bday!

Fraudulent charges and hidden fees.
We were a party of 5 with a 5-person reservation, yet the restaurant added:
a 25% automatic gratuity,
a $7 “convenience fee”,
and then still prompted us to tip an additional 20%.
I later discovered I was overcharged on my credit card.
This is completely dishonest. Avoid. And the food is pretty bad on top of that.

I used to travel 2-3x per week while I over saw the whole East Coast for a company and made it a point to try every Lebanese restaurant and every city I traveled to. This is the most authentic and delicious Lebanese food without a doubt.
Restaurantji Recommends
I never leave 1 star reviews as I know how damaging they can be to businesses, but I had horrible service here. We got the restaurant week menu, which comes with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The main issue was the dessert. We waited over an hour for it. The restaurant had only one other party present at that point. We flagged the waitress down several times to ask for the dessert and she just kept saying it was coming. After a while, I just asked for the check and asked her not to bring the dessert anymore and to just take it off the tab. She looked at me like I had a million heads, barely offering an apology. She was quite rude. She said she would bring the manager and then never did. She brought the dessert out with the check. It was 11pm at this point. Not coming back.

Y’all every step of this meal hit the dang mark. Got two apps: Hummus with Lamb and Kebbe Kras
The hummus was stellar - creamy, tangy, and the added lamb was perfect. The Kebbe Kras was fireeee, beef onions and almonds with this minty yogurt sauce to dip, it was crispy and steamy got me feeling some type of way.
Shish Tawook for main, chicken so tender I was like I wish I was that chicken. Toum was great (as it should) and rice was so flavorful mmm.
Star of the show though, got the Ashta for dessert y’all I was tearing up at this table that ish had me smelling colors I was on cloud 15 I cannot believe what I experienced there like as i’m writing this review i’m taking breaks and looking up a recipe to make this bc i need moreeeeee.
