We love Balade however at our most recent dinner there we had a 7:30 reservation, arrived a few minutes early and were sat at the table. However by 8:30 they had asked us to please finish up since they had another group waiting. Given our reservation was technically at 7:30 they would have only allotted one hour to our party of four which ordered appetizers, dinner, and after dinner drinks, which hardly seems like enough time (thought the standard was 90 minutes? ) disappointing given we were having a nice time - still love the food though

Service was attentive and friendly but pacing of meal was very slow. Portions for entrees were inconsistent: two diners ordered same dish and the protein on one plate was half the size of the other. The size of the sea bass was tiny for price. Tasty, but not a good value. All the food was well prepared and tasty, but the value was questionable.

I’ve been living in New York for a few years now, and been trying different restaurants and looking for a genuine Lebanese service and palate. Balade is the place! We tried their fattouch, hummus, sambusek, kebbeh krass, balade mixed grill, toum, arak, and kneffeh - everything was wholesome! The service was gentle and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice with vibey music in the background. I overheard people referring their friends to their yummy favorite dishes while looking at the menu. It felt like locals and visitors, old and new customers, people come and enjoy the big variety of fresh and cultivated flavors at Balade!
In the Lebanese cuisine, there is a journey. I’m glad to finally be able to experience this authenticity in New York City!

My friend unchristian me on a random Thursday for dinner. Upon entry, we were greeted and the place had a cozy vibe. Our waiter was extremely helpful on what we should order and let me tell you...order the hummus! You won't be disappointed 😌 they came with these warm pillowy soft bread basket. We had to order another. The meals our waiter suggested, were delicious and flavorful. I had the branzino and my friend had chicken kabobs. We didn't order liquor because my friend and I rarely drink. However, they had bottled sparkling water (Saratoga) which we really liked.

I recently hosted a large birthday dinner at Balade. Sherif and his team went above and beyond to make our event perfect, creating a prix fixe menu for us and serving abundant platters of delicious food all night. Will definitely be back for future events!

Such a great experience! Was treated so well by Rami, truly made our night! We started with the hummus and falafel, then did two of the prix fixie meals with beef kafta and the one of the chicken dishes. We ended with some delicious desserts and left with such full bellies! Definitely would recommend
