Dining at Bandone was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a welcoming ambiance that felt both elegant and relaxed on a Mother's Day Celebration! We started with the seafood salad, which was a standout dish on its own. Light, fresh, and beautifully presented, it featured tender calamari, shrimp, and octopus all perfectly seasoned and drizzled with just the right amount of olive oil and lemon. For the main course, I ordered the branzino, and it was truly exceptional. Cooked whole and served filleted tableside, the fish was moist, flaky, and seasoned simply to let the natural flavors shine. Accompanied by a asparagus purée and a touch of lemon, it was a perfect example of how great ingredients speak for themselves. The service was top tier and very attentive!! Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I'll absolutely be returning and bringing friends!

The kitchen was great as pretty much every dish was tasty. The service was atrocious. It was far from crowded but the servers would disappear for long lengths or just be standing around inside and needed to be flagged down to get any help. Dinner was brought out before the apps had even been cleared and then the main courses got cold waiting for new glasses of wine, which were ordered long before dinner arrived. The actual food is great but the management of the actual restaurant was terrible and both tables next to us grabbed their checks as soon as we asked for ours and everyone left upset. Way too many alternatives on the same block even to ever go again.
An amazing spot in the heart of SoHo. I had some of the best martinis I’ve ever tried — perfectly balanced and made with top-quality ingredients. The vibe is warm and inviting, with that cozy Italian touch that makes you want to stay and enjoy good conversation. Perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

The tiramisu was super creamy and the lava cake was perfectly warm and gooey inside. We also had some cucumber martinis that were delicious and really refreshing.
