It's the only decent place in Urbanspace. The food is good and the price is okay.

If you’re craving bao buns, Boa by Kaya is a hidden gem. The bao buns are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, hot, and made to order every time. Their lunch specials are an incredible deal, with everything priced under $15, making it an affordable yet top-quality spot for a quick bite.
The service is efficient and friendly, and you won’t have to wait long unless you arrive during peak lunch hours when it gets crowded. If you can avoid the rush, it’s a perfect spot for a quick, delicious meal. Highly recommended!

I don’t normally write reviews but this place was disgusting. I’m almost shocked at the quality. The popcorn chicken was GREY and somehow translucent under the batter. The bao’s were loaded with sauce and has an interesting after taste (I had the chicken and beef). I am not picky at all so just know I am deada** serious that this location is trash.
This bao stall in the food court is consistently good. The baos and the rice bowls are delicious and service is usually quick and pleasant.

Do not eat from here! There was PLASTIC mixed into the pork belly bao. I used to like Boa by Kaya, but this location is unsanitary and gross. There was one person working the station when I was there and the person was so impatient to use his phone that he started typing on it with his gloves on and then used those same hands to pull out the bao buns that were still soggy and not cooked. I honestly should have canceled my order right there and then. The pork belly tasted strange and tough, but I could not imagine that I'd be biting into shards of plastic later. They're no longer serving baos, but food that could kill.

In the food court. The baos are so flavorful. Also good prices, especially if you get the combos.

Pretty disappointing overall. The popcorn chicken was stringy and the batter was weird. The pork belly was over cooked and also stringy. The shrimp tempura was the saving grace but still wasn’t worth the price.

I stopped by the union square urban space location for the first time today!. I had the tempura shrimp, cow bao plus popcorn chicken combo which was awesome!!. I’m really glad that they have a location here so I can just walk down the street even when I can’t make it to Bryant park!. Looking forward to coming back!

Solid baos, got the pork belly and the duck. Dumps are good as well, I went with the two bao/3 dumpling combo, decent deal for midtown.

Urbanspace is a cool space, however it just feels extremely crowded/suffocating. The noodles were really good, but lacked flavor… more salt or greater spice level would be great!
