Darkness settling on Gotham. Pre-drink at Calico, minkish doorgirl usher to coathangers, six-foot paper lanterns in the Noguchi style, Saguaro cactus and cow skull the bar's centerpiece, Southwest Indian patterns on the rugs and upholstery, a little touch of kitsch in the yarn-bound paper menu listing cocktails inspired by the marriage of Al Stieglietz and Georgia O'Keefe: The O'Keefe Sour (lairds, mizu barley sochu, black apricot tea, maple, lemon, egg white),...
Great drinks, cool atmosphere. We got a seating area outside the bar in the “hall” area and it was comfortable and easier to talk (not as loud).

Bartenders paid attention to the orders (my martini was dirty as requested and my other drink that I asked for a light pour was perfect). For how busy it was, we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks.
Great bar! Cozy, intimate, great vibe. But what stole the show are the delicious drinks and the awesome service. Bartender Jose and Alex were very helpful in navigating the menu and suggesting drinks that were perfect for our group. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. They also gave samples when available. They have some milk punches (clara and under the moonlight) that are very different and tasty- Never had anything like it!
