Really beautiful bar for drinks, however the service last night by the bar staff was very poor. Attitude was not great at all. There was also a woman who was serving in the restaurant with reddish hair wearing a black suit style uniform who continuously looked customers up and down and whispered into her colleagues ears and laughed. Exceptionally rude behaviour and very offputting. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful place but won’t be returning any time soon

If you walk-in you might or might not find a seat at the bar as it’s first come first serve and if you want a table it’s better to make reservation first so you don’t need to wait around 30 mins for them to get you a table. With that being said, the food is great as well as the drinks. Chill vibes, highly recommend!

This space has a really nice ambiance and a great band playing. However, the rest of the experience is quite disappointing. The food is overpriced for the quality. For example, a small burger costs $38, and you get a giant plate of fried potatoes. I understand that expensive burgers can be good, but this wasn’t even close to being worth the price.

Incredible service and heartfelt care!
I recently visited the Bar Room at The Beekman Hotel in New York, and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional atmosphere and outstanding service. My husband and I were enjoying a lovely evening—he had a non-alcoholic drink, and I had a tea. We were waiting for a table to have dinner when, unfortunately, I experienced a sudden fainting spell.
The staff responded immediately and with the utmost professionalism. They asked if there was a doctor among the guests and called for an ambulance without hesitation. I would particularly like to highlight the care and kindness of Katie (I hope I remembered her name correctly). She stayed by my side the entire time, calming me down and making me feel cared for in such a stressful moment. Even before the incident, I had noticed her remarkable demeanor—she had handled a conversation with a guest next to me at the bar with such grace and warmth.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Katie and the entire team at the Bar Room for their extraordinary compassion and attentiveness. You truly made a difficult moment much easier, and your level of service is second to none.
I am very much looking forward to returning soon so I can finally enjoy the food as well—I'm sure it will be as exceptional as everything else!

I go to the Beekman bar regularly. I went on a Wednesday evening I had my usual tea. I met a nice person who bought me more drinks we enjoyed each others company he offered to pay. That evening he paid a $150.00 tab which should have covered everything. I went to the Beekman the next day I was approached by Mark a bartender he told me that I still owed money for my tea in front of everyone in a rude way. To avoid confrontation I paid for the tea from the previous night and my usual tea. I felt some type of way so I did not leave a tip. I explained to the other bartender what happened he apologized and offered to make it up to me I asked him for a snack which helped my experience. I'm not looking to freeload in anyway but I felt as though Mark was being very petty. Also, the wait time is long.
