Today I dined at the bar room at the beekman for their jazz brunch. I was celebrating my anniversary and it was a beautiful experience. As a couple who enjoys jazz, the restaurant featured a band that was exquisite and the staff was very kind and friendly. Our server was Wren and she was a delight. The food was just Ok had the rib short ribs and liver pate (both seemed a bit salty and I’m not usually fussy on that). But the room is stunning (don’t forget to look up!) & the energy of the crowd is on point …that and the cocktails make up for it. I’ll be back to try the lobster roll.
