Bar Mercer has a cozy atmosphere in a great location, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I went for brunch and ordered the pancakes, which unfortunately were below average - bland and undercooked. I wouldn't go back for brunch, but it might be worth trying for dinner instead.

I feel like this is a sleeper spot! picked it on a whim and it landed as a 9.9 on my beli ranking. the branzino was incredible i could have practically licked the plate. the starters were delicious too. I think they can work on their martini but all in all it was an absolutely delicious meal!

After an event, my girlfriends and I found this spot to grab some drinks and small bites. The staff was incredible and the manager was super cool. He made sure we were taken care of. This is the type of excellent customer service that a lot of establishments lack. Another gem added to my favorite restaurants in NY.

I wanted to write this review days after the incredibly BAD EXPERIENCE we had and in order to be a little more objective and not write after the bad experience. To begin with, it is very disappointing to discover that the prix-fixe menu offered for NYC restaurant week is more expensive than ordering directly from the main menu of the place, each prix-fixe has a cost of $60+ tax and if you order the same directly The menu costs $45+tax and not to mention the TINY PORTIONS they serve in this place. I do not recommend this restaurant at all and I hope no one wastes their time and money in places like these.

Delicious! I tasted everything served to our table of 4, and it was all very good. Would like to see more complete plates on the menu. It is odd to order everything ala carte at a Mexican restaurant.

Absolutely incredible restaurant! We were here on a Tuesday evening and it was busy. The staff was incredible and did an amazing job working together. We felt very taken care of. They were kind, attentive and nice. The atmosphere was relaxing, full of good energy. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend coming here on your NYC visits. Food was very yummy! Personally I stuck with seafood dishes and all were fantastic. Highly recommend the salmon sashimi! Drinks were equally delicious. Service was attentive and quick too respond. Def will be back.

Was there recently for food and drinks. We had tacos and couple of drinks. Their tacos were amazing, would recommend to try all 4. My friend tried their mezcal based old fashioned drink which he really liked and I stuck to beer. The service was amazing, staff quite professional. Lighting was just right. Loved the calm vibe of the place.
