Double Zero is no longer a freestanding restaurant, but merged with its Mexican themed restaurant next-door. And now has a menu with both vegan pizza or Mexican. The pizza was fair, and I recall when we last ate there about one year ago, the toppings and cashew cheese were more generous. Whereas last year I would've given the food of four or five star rating, this year. I have to leave it at a three.
All vegan mexican spot that now has pizza as well. Used to be double zero. Had some great tacos for taco Tuesday! Want to go back for the burrito...

I opened my menu and I saw nothing I called the waiter and she didn’t hesitate to get me a new one to see that there was nothing in the next one at this point it has been 1hour and I finally got a real menu so I ordered and I got a large hairball at the bottom of my food. Totally don’t recommend the service sucks too there was 4 homeless men that came to my seat when I was in the bathroom and ate half of my food. The drinks tasted like homeless pee and milk and it was bad. I saw people peeing outside and me and my family got disgusted. I would never ever bring anyone hear. After I ate my cheek became red and my mouth became purple while it was itching. I went to the bathroom and there were people who had no cloths on. Totally don’t recommend this place. NOT slay approved. I have a YouTube channel that I review restaurants on so light my YouTube on the hate. - pimplemaster10 - my chips tasted like someone spat on them. Never come to this place. - pimplemaster10 - thanks. Pimplemaster out.
The menu was eclectic and the food was terrific. Two restaurants, Bar Verde and Double Zero, have combined. Food is principally vegan, maybe entirely. Big portions. We shared the spicy udon noodles with crispy tofu. Amazing. As was the nachos tower with quinoa.
The food was overcooked and dry, not seasoned well. I ordered the mushroom carnitas bowl and they dropped off the jackfruit bowl instead. Tortillas were basically inedible. The sauces had an odd bitterness and tang to it. Hurts to shell out $26 for a bowl of food like this. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was an off day.

The pizza was absolutely great. The salads were fresh and tasty. There was a small delivery problem, but it was corrected in a very expedient and customer focus manner. We will definitely be going back the next time we’re in New York City. Sha was awesome

Absolutely yummy vegan options. My friend and I shared 4 mushroom tacos (the order contains 3, but one may order an additional taco of the same ilk) and nachos. This order was so filling! The flavors were perfectly blended and the nachos, crispy. Nice atmosphere, too!
Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan!! Yay!😁

This is a MUST visit restaurant for us when we're are in NYC. The food is AH-mazing. Plant-based, vegan. So much flavor. Textures are incredible. It is such a low key, intimate environment. Staff is friendly. Drinks are incredible - especially the spicy lemonade.
Dietary restrictions: Let them know if you have an allergy and they'll accommodate!

I returned because they merged the double zero with Bar Verde, the space is cozy, it's a shame they removed several dishes that were very good like the Antipasto 🥲
As always, the gluten free pizza was very good, the portion is generous and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The service was very good, the staff very warm and attentive.
I will return to try dishes that have plant based Mexican cuisine.
Vegetarian options: 100% plant based food
The jackfruit tacos were super tasty & our waiter was very kind. Great dining experience!

I'll keep this simple. The food here is great, and the atmosphere is great too. I just have one big complaint: they don't honor reservations.
I made a reservation here a month in advance for Valentine's day. The day before I confirm via text message that we will definitely be there. We arrive at 6:20pm for a 6:30pm reservation, only to find that they didn't honor our reservation. They offered us a seat at the bar, or a 45 minute wait, or to come back three hours later.
I unfortunately wasn't the only one. The entry way was packed with folks whose reservations weren't honored. It's clear to me that the management of the restaurant doesn't really care about class, they just want to have the restaurant filled.
So, as much as I love the food here, I would steer clear of making a reservation on a busy holiday, because odds are they won't honor your reservation and they'll leave you out in the cold.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was yummy. My only thought is that there needs to be a couple more items on the menu. Not too many, just a few. Otherwise, very good. I would go back there without hesitancy.
