Not only did you provide exceptional service and amazing food but went above and beyond in every conceivable way to make her birthday the best one she has ever had. Shame on the management. I was here tonight and had one of the most despicable things that can have accrue during a work dinner. The manager, Phil, was aggressively kicking out tables with minutes of a “warning” after the check was paid. He accosted my co-workers, 9 women, and was absolutely vile to the woman who spent thousands to take her team out for the holidays. It really was a horrible way to end the night and something the owners should look into. It clearly was his inability to MANAGE expectations and MANAGE the restaurant…his job as manager. We understand the service industry is difficult but there is a professional and decent way to navigate these things, something Phil does not seem to possess.

Had a delicious meal here for a friend’s birthday. They were so accommodating. The wine was delicious and all the pastas were cooked perfectly. Get the off-menu cacio e pepe!

I came for the famous roast chicken, and it did not disappoint, though it also didn’t particularly wow me. The skin was incredibly crispy, but there was nothing very memorable with the flesh. I found the entire dish a little greasy towards the end of the meal.

The service was very warm and attentive but unfortunately the food was a major letdown. We got the “signature” dishes— roasted chicken, potatoes with rosemary and calamari salad with greens. Generally, everything was over salted but also lacking in any other discernible flavor. The chicken was dry and not better than a supermarket rotisserie.

My wife and I went to Barbuto on a recent trip to NYC. We had seen many good reviews and we knew of Jonathan Waxman from our Top Chef fandom. The entire experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drink was of top notch quality and delicious. We were able to fill ourselves with three courses and brought dessert home. The portions were not overly large, which was a good thing. If traveling by subway, it is about a 10-15 minute walk from the 14th St and 8th Ave station. We loved the focaccia and olive oil along with the prosciutto and burrata. Highly recommended.

4 of us for dinner, and we had a superb meal. Meatballs, 2 x pasta dishes and a pizza and all were delicious. The server was attentive and efficient and his help with the wine choice was appreciated.

Excellent dinner with my husband last night. We had the meatball, bread, gnocchi, and scampi spaghetti. I probably should've ordered less but it was so satisfying to polish off these plates and go for a long walk afterwards.
The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. Definitely plan to return on my next trip back!
