Second time back. Absolutely a must when we visit NYC. The portions are generous and delicious. Insalata di Cavolo is a favorite. I even try to recreate at home with sime success. ?

Barbuto is terrific. Really cool far west village location and it's a large space with a big bar (where we had a great house martini prior to dinner, the best way to eat out). The team is friendly from the get go and we felt taken care of by the friendly staff. We went for the roast chicken and it didn't disappoint. Don't expect it to be life changing but it is among the best roast chicken in NYC: juicy with great flavor and an amazing crispy skin served with their version of a chimichurri sauce. Delicious. Also want to acknowledge the calamari salad which is maybe the best version of fried calamari I've ever had. Great place and I'm happy it's here!

Consistently incredible food, great atmosphere, awesome cocktails, and excellent service!
Not what it used to be. Seems that the quality and care has plummeted. Brought guests from out of town to rave about one of favorite places, however we are disappointed on almost every dish. I would no longer recommend Barbuto based on my experience last week.

i’ve only got a blurry photo of my dinner but this place is a solid institution for eating and it’s always gonna hit on all notes. i recall the salsa verde being a bit looser and more robust in herb flavor, but the scallops compensated for anything i may had been missing. the salads were absolutely stellar. our server was also super nice and kept the energy up through the whole dinner. the cookies that finished were as good as mom/ nonna made. great date night.

Great spot. I loved the private dining area in the basement. Terrific service (shout out to Gypsy and Eduardo). Wood-fired pizza was fantastic.
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert.
Food is amazing! Drink is amazing! And sunset is absolutely stunning!
