I happened upon Barfly accidentally and it must have been kismet because I cannot recommend this establishment enough! Excellent customer service, lovely female owner, great food menu and incredible cocktails — even homemade sangria! They have many TVs showing all kinds of sports and I was able to watch the Olympics with the commentary on. The vibe is friendly, casual and homey. They apparently have a patio for spring/summer too, which I look forward to checking out later on when it’s warmer. Absolutely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a good meal or drink (or both) while watching sports.

Your bartender Luis, recognized me from years ago, brought up his ex and got hostile and tried to fight my friends. He also found my instagram and sent me harassing messages and I can provide it. Please let him go. Several other bar goers left with me when he started trying to put his hands on me and then tried to fight my friends. The bartender asking people to step aside to square up is not weird ? Please do something about this. We love barfly, but he is so hostile.

Disappointing Experience with Pulsd Voucher I came to Barfly with a Pulsd voucher, and the response from the waitress was simply, “We don’t take that.” No explanation, no attempt to help — just a dismissive attitude. I've used Pulsd at many NYC restaurants and this was the first time I encountered this kind of response. When I asked what I was supposed to do since we had already paid for the voucher, she just said, “Call them… a lot of people have come with that and we don’t take it.” If multiple customers are showing up with the same issue, why hasn’t management addressed this? Either coordinate with Pulsd or make it very clear on all platforms that vouchers won’t be accepted. This lack of communication and poor customer service made for a really disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.
